I'm not poking fun at Rosie, I am flat out questioning why she is even a celeb. She ceased being funny when, 15 years ago? She has prolonged her wretched career how? She comments on the actions of everyone else but implies she has free reign to live life unquestioned. If she has a scalpel, she has to go under the knife, too. WHEN has ROSIE EVER admitted any wrongdoing in anything or shown any humility. That's what I want to see. Man, she must be one messed up person. As far as Britney goes, K-Fed should get the kids. It would be an upgrade. As a parent, its f@#king sad to have to watch human garbage like Britney Spears do the things she does and not feel 1000% sorry for her kids. She clearly is not taking her responsibility very seriously at all. Or 'Michael Jackson's' kids. -
I'm actually not a big THE DON fan either, but his cheesiness is entertaining to a point.

blu, i didn't cross any line. my post was not directed at anything regarding the principle of gay adoption. the point i was making was about celebrities seem to be able to magically adopt babies and whether or not they were subjected to the same procedures all other couples are. I had to write recommendation letter for some close friends to vouch for them in their adoption process. to see all the expense, anguish, pain and time they went though, basically their lives were probed like a rectal exam. I never read or saw anything about how Rosie obtained hers that suggested she had to be scrutinized in that manner. And honestly, if they had, seeing how messed up in the head she she is, it would be on the fence in my opinion as to whether you could trust her with a child, if they were giving her a review process. that's all i'm saying. couples go through hell to adopt legally. I am just wondering if she had to go through the same ordeal. -
what don't i eat? you fking bastards, now I have to go find that unopened bag of doritos.

it sure is unfortunate they let Rosie purchase her 'children'. I suppose she had no chance of getting one through proper channels. One interview with social services and they would have burned her file. -
new old dash, hmmmm

no, we hate her because she's a "insert word with C here" -
it was all rooted in the notion that cadillacs are most often better values than bimmers

I'd rather see Miss USA and Miss Nevada brawl in a tub of chocolate pudding or good alfredo and then kiss and make up. With Rosie watching in the front row, tied down to her chair. And the Don in the corner counting the money. -

yeah, but the Don is at least watchable on TV. -
coast down as long as possible in a higher gear. you still get some engine braking and won't wear out your brakes as much. And, less overall wear on your clutch and tranny. downshift only at the last neccessary moment or when you come to a stop. i was told to never have it in neutral. always have it in some gear so if you need to suddently accelerate you have A chance of being able to get out of a situation. -edit- i will put it in neutral at a stoplight sometimes when I am at a standstill. So i kind of break whatever was told to me sometimes. If i am in neutral, i don't gotta press the darn clutch down.

GM didn't the have $$$ or time to develop a car like the commodore for the NA separately.

"AZTEK GXP" LMAO!!!!!!!!! today my wife said (after I threw out some scenarios for getting rid of the aztek and getting her a new ride) "I don't think you'll ever be able to get rid of this car, she (my daughter) likes it too much, and I like it too" then she listed all the reasons THEY like it so much. What can I say, its ugly, but has been 99% reliable in 60000 miles plus, and has totally satisfied my wife and daughter. It was funny today. I saw a ridgeline drive by and the angle by which i saw it, it almost looked like an Aztek with the rear hatch and rear window removed. Someone ought to photochop an aztek to look like a crapline, er ridgeline.

me and a buddy were discussing the media the other day, and why they are biased, and generally lean left. how that discussion was relevant here, generally you will find that people who are drawn to writing as a profession, are often pushy about their points of view, and have no interest in hearing the opposite viewpoint. Writing has always been the traditional way to get your fact, er, opinions out into the masses, i.e. thousands/millions of people, with no mechanism for anyone to challenge your point of view in return. Except for maybe one or two letters to the editor that MIGHT get printed about what you wrote. Even if 75% of the population that reads your spooge disagrees with you, since you are the one who was annointed to write for the paper or whatever, your opinion is the CORRECT ONE. Now with the internet of course and blogging and email you get chances to counter those supposedly expert journalistic opinions and get a bit of a chance at a fair counterpoint. But the bottom line is that the picklehead journalists are all educated to promote the notion of self indulgence to their own thoughts, and to get them printed for many to read and accept as fact. So, they latch on to a notion of something and beat it to death....because there is no alternate viewpoint. Which is why sites like Cheers and Gears are so great. We can all post our brains out, and we at least get chances to debate with each other. I can post what I THINK is the way something is, but I know half are gonna agree and half are gonna disagree. I don't care who agrees or disagrees, that's the point...I respect that everyone has their opinion and I am not out to try to change what others think and I don't think anyone else here on C/G does. But I am telling ya, professional journalists / editors etc. they could care less what the everyday man thinks. People get into writing as a career, to push agendas. And writing was at least at one time a place where you could foist your opinions unchallenged. Others had no mechanism to respond. It absolutely must drive all those editorialists crazy at the newpapers these days, the ones who maybe were educated in high universities, baby boomers, high idealisms, and now after all these years of free reign on peoples thoughts, they can be confronted by readers in innumerable ways. It must just drive them nuts to just now find out how wrong they are most of the time. But after so many years of promoting an agenda in the press it becomes so engrained in people's minds and people cannot reason for themselves. Hence, donestics bad, imports good. Because the hippie editor drove a toyota in college or their vega got some rust.

no interior shots. well, its cheap looking so i suppose they don't want to draw attention to that.
