  1. C'mon, bobo, she's a little better looking than that. LOL.

  3. Man, aren't we polarized? Then you wonder why I run a poll like are you "liberal or conservative?" LOL.

  5. Yeah, how about if she had to make a decision about pushing "the buttons" while on the rag?
  6. I know more than a handful of pissed-off Republicans right now...specifically about the Palin choice. Bill Clinton looks like, has always looked like, and sounds like a hick, despite lofty pedigrees. Go to one of those bohemian stores that have the nasty greeting cards. There's one birthday card with Bill and Hillary on the cover, showing them as college students, and inside it says "You haven't gotten older, you've gotten better." They did NOT look good.
  7. I had to bite my lip, but now I can go with the flow. Don't kid yourself, the PNW has plenty of white trash. Can you spell "Tonya Harding?" The local trash up there resented the fact that transplanted Californians and Northeasterners actually lifted the cultural profile of the place...not to mention adding more attractive people to their ranks than the local inbreds. Re the OP, I respect what she's accomplished but she ain't the best thing since sliced bread. Yeah, look at her husband and some of her kids. They'll have to go to "charm school" for execs and first families, I guess. Palin comes from Sandpoint ID. It's a neat little town between Coeur d'Alene and the Canadian border. Look her up on NNDB. It indicates she was baptized Roman Catholic (you know, normal), but then went "fundy." I had pretty much decided on McCain until this came along. He needed to have a person with strong charisma AND good experience. I'm not convinced.

  9. Ha. Yes. Two occasions just like this. My brother and his wife had 2 cats. The friendlier one of the two, all purring and cuddly, turns around after a couple of minutes, clamps down on my hand and draws blood....the day before I left for Europe. I disinfected it right away and was glad no infection followed. The next door neighbors to my parents. The back of their lot is sloped with ground cover and no fence. I would see this little black cat there. I was sitting in a patio chair and it came over and let me pet it. In about 30 seconds, he proceeds to bite me and starts hissing at me. Generally, I've had better luck with dogs.

  15. Satty has the best comebacks! :rotflmao: I second the motion. That way you will have an "auxiliary nipple" (medical term), as did one of the villains in a James Bond film, "The Man With a Golden Gun," I believe...
  16. Couldn't you almost picture Janet Reno chasing Lewinsky in her famous blue dress down some more obscure hallway in the White House with the Beverly Hills-bred intern squirming and recoiling? Great stuff....

  19. Bill's losing his stamina, seen falling asleep at speeches and presentations. And, who knows, that "narcolepsy" could go hand-in-hand with ED. His power was the real elixir for Lewinsky and Company. As of late, he's been a house-husband. I don't think he could get as much as he used to.
  20. Their marriage has always been a "house of cards"......
  21. I think front row seats to Bill and Hillary's fighting would be worth a "chunk of change"....

  23. WTF Look at the title of this thread.... McCain's Trend....for FUN, seriously Let it go, now. The only thing that is certain is now that Hillary is off the campaign trail, she will have more time on her hands to browbeat her husband and kick-start her vibrator. Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...............................................

  25. I grew up with a dog - an Australian Shepherd. I'm still a "dog person." There are some cats where I live and all, except one, are skittish. This one grayish-brown tabby is a friendly little $h!. I thought he had an owner but I was told he does not, though people take care of him by feeding him. He comes right up to you and, if you sit down, it jumps into your lap and wants to be pet. He's a smart one, too...if you scratch his belly, he will grab you with both front paws but retracts the claws so he doesn't scratch you. My dog would do that...you'd tug on her tail, she'd take your hand into her mouth, but NOT bite down. Damn, domestic animals are smart. Sometimes, in the evening, if this cat sees me, he follows me and bolts into my front door. He proceeds to climb up onto my couch or the dining table and stretches out and lays there or "marks" furniture or other stuff by rubbing up against it. I think most of us who don't like cats don't like them because of the typical cat's aloof personality. This one acts more like a dog. You like cats? You hate cats? Indifferent?
