  2. At least he hasn't started trying to drink E85 yet... I bet Ethanol Fuel Stations just love it when Ted Kennedy sets foot on their property. Oh, and I used to drink brown rum (Appleton Estate) straight or with cola when I was in university. Vodka... meh... where I went, douchebags would have it in Powerade and have flipped up collars and they carried cellphone holders... kinda like this guy. So I didn't like Vodka.
  3. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: ...that was an awesome episode eh? "He's half man, half bear half pig" "Dude, that's impossible, he's half man, half bearpig" "He could also be half bear, half manpig" Dude... Didn't you get the memo?
  4. My neighbour used to drive a mid 90s Toyota Tacoma and would take it out when he went hunting, fishing and heading off the beaten track. And it also out - accelerated our diesel Sierra. However, he has asked us on a couple occasions to borrow our Sierra when he had to move his daughters bed and stuff from their house to her apartment and back. The Tacoma was not that up to the task of hauling dressers, bed frames and the like. Yes it took her futon, but we had to haul the sofa. He bought the Tacoma because he heard great things about it in Consumer Reports, and he told us that CR said our 1990 Sierra was terrible, and unreliable. Our Sierra still runs like a charm, and his Tacoma has since gone to pasture after a few transmission and engine problems. So although I am commenting on the Tacoma, I think it can be compared with the Tundra. Yes it may out accelerate the Domestics... but when push comes to shove, when you actually need to use the vehicle for its intended purpose, the Tundra loses, that's all there is to it. Plus, the current Tundra gets worse fuel economy in its V8 form than GM's 5.3... Toyota 16/18 EPA ... as tested - 17.0 Chevrolet 16/20 EPA ... as tested - 18.2 sad... sad...sad...
  5. Interesting. I really like the first sketch, almost looks better than the one we're getting. However, the design that is coming out is awesome. Yes there are people who think Daimler is recycling ideas, and I agree as well. However, in a sea of derivitive cars, and G35's, the Challenger is a welcome sight. ...Shame it won't be more affordable.

  7. WWWWWHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAA! A top speed of 143 mph!!! DUDE!
  8. I think he's omitted some data... where are the torque and horsepower figures?
  9. I had a similar argument with a dude in my dorm making a similar argument as ocn. I'd make points, but he'd always say "I'm a dude, it's what we do"... I just gave up... He's a master-debater
  10. Gee dude... I love V8, RWD as much as the next guy and really dislike Toyota, but I gotta say, if that's what you wrote, you may have ruined somebody's time. I have gotten messages from Enviro groups on my windshield lecturing me on my truck and how it singlehandedly is dooming us to death... (here's my advance apology by the way: Sorry! ) and it pissed me off. People don't like to get made fun of, and they probably don't want their car to be made fun of either. Maybe the beige Toyota with stock hubcaps was the only vehicle in their price range... maybe they scrounged extra cash just to get a car to fit the kids... who knows... Point is, maybe thinking things through would've been a good idea. Your note wouldn't make anyone happy, and would likely cause the folks driving the Toyota to question whether humanities kindness still exists...
  11. 'ing MTV and its damn hippity hoppity videos...
  12. Pissing you off? Really? They're making me laugh my ass off. I love how they are comparing the GT500 to the Corvette and Camaro. Why is there no hypothetical discussion about say, the BASE Mustang with all its glorious 210HP and the future Camaro which could at least contain 250 horses. The Base models are the moneymakers anyway.
  13. Having read over the past couple pages... maybe it's safe to say that this thread gets locked and the FWD mafia have a second recruiting thread... Calling people wacked isn't exactly the camaderie that I though C&G stood for.
  14. The RWD mafia pretty much got all its members in 5 pages and yet this discusson has devolved into an argument over BV's "5 speed automatic" transmissioned Mazda Milennia...
  15. The above post also demonstrates the need for a "tounge in cheek" smiley!
  16. And people wonder why Bill was such a Philanderer... C'mon... If I was a Republican, I wouldn'tve tried to impeach him. Look who the poor guy is married to...
  17. I don't get it, but why do I still find it funny!
  18. I put a poster of the Dodge Charger R/T on my door the first week when I was in residence. Two days later... someone took the liberty of grabbing my next door dormmates felt marker and scribbling: "American Gas Guzzling Decadence" I come back from class to find some of my neighbours wondering who the hell did this. I know it wasn't anyone on my floor, because we all talked cars. The university is packed with liberal, hippie types who can't seem to mind their own business when I'm driving my truck or make some capitalist remark. Sadly, we never found out who it was.
  19. I took two courses on the history on the Middle East, and I was fascinated that their impressive culture and history in Spain, Northern Africa and the Middle East is being destroyed by these disillusioned terrorists. Iran is singlehandedly destroying the rich past of the Safavid dynasty and it's literary, scientific and philisophical accomplishments. Much of our philosophy and scientific and mathematical knowledge is in fact from Arabic texts. The Arabs who dominated the North African and Spanish lands were fascinated with the Greek and Roman theories and painstakingly transcribed those texts to their own language and stored copies in many libraries in Iraq, Iran, the Cordoban Caliphate and Egypt. Although Europe lost many of its great texts during the Dark Ages and puritannical tyrants, the Arabs provided European scholars with their versions, thus preserving history. Jews and Christians were also held in high respect. Although today extremists preach the purging of Judaism and Christianity, back then, many Christians and Jews held high places in the Islamic government. The Islamic rulers knew that they all worshipped the same God, so there was no problem with all three religions co-existing. ...As you can see, I can talk your ear off about Islam's contribution to the world, and how the religion is improperly being portrayed by Islamist extremists, Christian and Jewish Extremists (the ones we SHOULD be afraid of), the media, governments preying on our fear and radical Islamic governments. The terrorists are scum of the earth. For every verse they quote from the Qu'aran that advocate violence, there are often more than several that advocate peace and humanity. These men deserve to be locked up with a real, pure version of the Holy Book and maybe then they'll realize the error of their ways.

  22. Thread... so... totally... hijacked... This is awesome.
  23. Is this by the same guy who did that awful Pregnant Britney Spears sculpture? Although I am usually against lawsuits, if someone portrayed me like that, I'd make a point to sue them, their family, their friends and Dennis Rodman. I'd probably just hire a ninja pirate assasin to cut off the artists head and I'd just stick it on a stake and display it to the whole world... Now THAT's art.
