  1. Whoa!!! You saw one?! That's gotta be like finding Jesus or soemthing... I'd forgotten they ever existed.
  2. skank
  3. Uh, because if we all agreed that GM kicks everybody else's ass, we'd look stupid in the eyes of everybody else. As much as some people hate to read the guy's posts, the site actually needs people like him to disagree with our points and raise his own. You can't dismiss your competitors. If GM dismissed the competition, they'd have gone under years ago.
  4. The is that?! Christ, why can't they just use Chrysler or GM minivan's or something. Or maybe those taxi's out of England...
  5. Doesn't look as dumb in this image... At least it looks different.
  6. Maybe the mods all have "User Ignored" razor so they don't know what he's saying?...
  7. Gale Banks ( The truck mod dude)
  8. Wow, that looks awesome. I kinda want it...
  9. I knew Michigan was full of hookers, but I didn't know the state was so pixelated.
  10. This worked in the IKEA commercial!
  11. Canadian CANDU reactor. We have 18 running, 2 being refurbished and a few decomissioned due to lifespan, research, etc. Pretty efficient and safe in that it doesn't need uranium to be enriched (Big word in Iran crisis). It can also run on other fissile fuels when necessary, making it pretty versatile. It also has an average 88% capacity factor which is excellent, especially when considering American reactors have 81 - 87% and other countries are often less. We ain't too slow, eh? We also have sold reactors to the Indian's and Chinese and South Koreans. There is a common misconception that the material in India's A-Bomb came from a CANDU. It's very difficult to make a bomb using spent CANDU fuel, thus making it safer. Oh, and we sold one to Pakistan too...
  12. If we were all about bashing the other companies unopposed and blindly, we'd be no better than a Mopar forum.
  13. Oh, and you say you're taking the advice of the drug's website? If my university's economics and business courses taught me anything, it's... um... oh...ahhhh... ...The fact that the company would rather you keep taking the drugs instead of going off them. Who wants to lose a customer? The site is likely geared to subliminally make it sound bad for you to stop. I'm serious. Just the wording they use can alter your ideas about quitting. I'd stop reading their website and get to your doctor or therapist about withdrawing. They can likely help you to change your diet and give you physical exercises that may help compensate for the lack of whatever chemical the drug provided you.
  14. If they are just doing this to unseat GM and become the worlds largest carmaker, then they are one petty company. Already they are dealing with recalls, and this will likely cause more recalls in the future, further eliminating the "quality" that Toyota built its business on. They want to be the largest automaker in the world, let them. "Woohoo, Toyota, you're number one, but your trucks still suck, and your jellybeans on wheels cause me to lose testosterone everytime I look at them. Thanks to you, I have to sit on the toilet and impulsively buy Maxi Pads for those 'heavy rain days'..." Oh well... Maybe if they are number one, then people will put them under the microscope and critique them with more scrutiny.

  16. Je-zus tit-ty fu-ck-ing Christ...
  17. Jesus, taking any medication and stopping cold turkey never has good results. You should've talked to a doctor before even doing that, especially with medication that directly affects your brain or specifically targets your brain and its secretions. Guess you figured that out by now...
  18. Weird. I just saw the interior and I got a weird VW Passat vibe for a second... I gotta lay off the poppy seed muffins.

I wonder if they have Nissan Quest gatherings, kinda like the Saturn ones? That means you and the other five owners will be able to meet each other, and I'll be able to see what kind of people buy Nissan Quest's
  20. I guess it's a neat-o function, but personally, I'll never use it, and if had my way, no one else would. Just coming from psychology, being able to block out other people's opinions, especially on a internet forum can become problematic. It can cause "group polarization" which often occurs in politically charged forums, and possibly Mopar boards . I notice people block Buickman. Although I don't always agree with his points, he is entitled to voice his opinion, and it should be read, so it can be rebut, expanded upon, or agreed with. Sheltering yourself from outside voices, no matter how stupid or wrong you think they are might not sound like a big deal at first, but it doesn't do much good for the site IMO. My 0.02.
  21. I doubt it. If anything, they could be agreeing that they have to stop biting at each other and instead hit back at the import companies.
  22. Ok, I'm trying to find a thread, but I forgot what it was totally about, etc. BUT... It does have a picture of a flying Oldsmobile Silhouette! I think one of Flybrian's creations. Anyone able to steer me toward it?
  23. I find it kind of funny that the company we North American's know of as "Chevrolet" is often associated with Camaro's, Corvette's and Malibu's... and in the rest of the world save perhaps the Middle East, Chevy is the badge applied to dowdy ol' Daewoo's...
  24. This vehicle goes to show why Toyota is afraid of Hyundai more than any other automaker. Very, very afraid.
