I've been looking at these things for a while, but I've been having a hard time deciding or jumping on one because they're all so similar. Does anyone own one, and have any testimonials why they bought one over the other, etc? I don't need a huge amount of space, but I'd like XP because Linux has a big red 'L' on its forehead, and is for communists.

I've had one of my shifts cuts already, and I'm fighting to keep the others; I could be out of work come January. Unfortunately, it's a double whammy of the downturn, and a new union contract which is giving more money to those with seniority. In order to pay for the increased labour costs associated with the contract, students like me are being laid off, or losing work.

Well, they ARE being paid a big chunk of coin. I understand running a multinational is hard work, and I don't want to join in on the 'red-ink Rick' bandwagon, but the pay isn't exactly corresponding with performance. I agree that it's ironic that companies like Citi are being payed large amounts, and no one is publicly demanding a 'plan' from them.

What's so offensive about that? That comic is defending the employees, and workers of domestic auto companies, and making fun of the exorbitant salaries of the higher-ups.

It's interesting you say that it's leftists that want the car companies to fail, yet there are also plenty of Republicans, and people on the right who are highly opposed to any bailout or intervention.
