  1. Sweet write up, thanks for sharing!
  2. Performance is cool, car is nice looking but I have to agree with Balthazar, it is showing it's age.
  3. Very excited as I know many find the current GM system dated and hard to use. Excited to see this.
  4. Yet the statistics show the Maxima and Cadenza to not be as big as the Regal and the 3 series, TSX and MKZ sure do not have the room with only average quality, average materials.
  5. So do you think they are just trying to get a bit extra profit for the auto then and if it does not sell well they can say see no one wanted these type of auto's under the Buick name plate.
  6. My Father Loves the XTS also but he likes the soft float rides so there is a group who prefers these auto's still. I would never snub my nose at driving either one if given to me.
  7. Proving that there is a limited need by the service industry for full size vans.
  8. This makes sense to have a full portfolio of CUV's with the way the US is currently consuming them. Pictures make it a nice looking Station wagon. Seems Volvo is pulling a page from Subaru in regards to having cross functional products. Guess we will see more of these on the passes in AWD form to get one to and from the ski resorts.
  9. I think the power and interior is right on for this category and competition. GM needs to work on the pricing issue. One wonders how much of this auto is really built here compared to importing from Europe which has much higher costs.
  10. Room, comfort and trunk space come directly to mind. The CTS is a bit cramped inside, especially the back seat. Size and space all depends on the size of the people. On my wife's side which is Korean, both the CTS and XTS are huge and have plenty of space and then you have their size which for the family is on average 5' tall. Yet on my side of the family, the average person is 6' tall a foot taller and makes a big difference. Course both auto's while nice are just too small for my 6'6" tall frame and I used to own a CTS.
  11. If the EPA would do away with the stupid estimates and fictional assumption testing and do real world testing it would be far more accurate and better for everyone. Real World Testing should have the Following: 5 Mile Highway testing 5 mile stop and go highway testing 5 mile city driving testing A 35 mph 5 mile test drive A 70 mph 5 mile test drive This should give a good real world MPG testing. What else do you think should be tested for real world test MPG?
  12. We'll first look is NOT IMPRESSIVE and VERY 1990's! Surprised that they would do full size vans when the market has shrunk so much to pretty much be a Service sector market.
  13. The federal government should step in and update to 21st century ways to sell things.
  14. But the RX and MKX are not as small as a GLK or X3, that is why Lincoln and Lexus both put an SUV below that. And what does it say about Cadillac that their 190 inch long SUV has the interior space of a 178 inch long German SUV. That is poor packaging. Buyers of $30-40,000 crossovers prefer FWD because they don't know any better. I'd suggest that the XT5 should be more of a $50-70,000 crossover with a 550 hp V-series. Then a $35-50,000 XT3 can be sold below it with a 420 hp V-series model. Although Mercedes is making a 470 hp GLK, and they'll have a plug in hybrid that outdoes the RX400h in efficiency. Give it some time and the Germans will turn that crossover segment to their favor. In the 1980s and 90s Cadillac pushed front wheel drive because that was where the volume was, then the Germans turned luxury to rear wheel drive and took all the volume and profit, leaving Cadillac, Lincoln and Acura in the dust. Cadillac has been trying since 2003 to catch up. So are they going to make the same mistake on crossovers? So then since you cannot win an argument on your German love of MB / BMW on back seat space since Cadillac has superior rear seat space in comparison to the German version you move to now attacking the added length of the SRX so that the extra protection is bad since your German version do not have it!
  15. Yet it took the NHTSA 3yrs to notice the reports were not being filed. FAILURE in the NHTSA! Who got fired over this lapse of coverage?
  16. Yes, I love the Encore, tight for me but doable as a daily commuter auto. Still not able to have someone sit behind me unless they are a very small adult or kid, but unlike other CUV's out there, the trax and encore I can actually sit in upright and comfy with head room and it would be fine for a 1-2hr drive. GM has really done an outstanding job with these auto's I am very excited and expect solid sales for the Trax just like the Encore. One thing I will have to say is that I love the dash in the Trax, I actually think it is better than the Encore. That is what I think Buick needs to do, update and improve the Encore dash. It's amazing that you fit in it and say that it would be okay as a commuter for you given your previous comments about other cars. The Trax is shorter in length than a Sonic Sedan! I agree with you that for all subcompacts I usually cannot fit in them. I believe since this car sits up taller that it gives me the headroom and ability to sit straight up. Yes my knees are rubbing the center console and door, but as I said, for a commuter to the office or running errands around town, short drives I can be in this car. Chevy really has given interior space on this much like the Buick Encore. I would hate to have to be the person trying to sit behind me, but next time I get into an Encore or a Trax, I will have someone take a picture so you all can see. I am impressed with this LT as it was very popular at the Seattle Auto Show. People really liked it as did the crowd that was around the 2015 SS. The one they had was in Red.

  18. Hot Booty!
  19. Hundreds of them on the lots for the two dealerships in the area. They cannot seem to give them away. Trash Quality of an auto.
  20. I love that added room of the ATS-L that should be here in America.
  21. Based on the one they had to look at in Seattle, These will sell like hotcakes. I actually expect them to sell out of AWD for the price point. I love the color, but based on the web site and will take this in moca brown with the Brownstone interior.
  22. Hopefully they will fix the interior space for large people. Right now the current SRX is sure short on interior space for those over 6' tall.
  23. I will take a new Bi-Fuel Cruze, nothing like petrol / CNG for the right combo.
