  1. I am Excited for Elio to get to market. I think we will see many more of these type of enclosed bikes. Once they get it CNG or Electric I can see it as a consumer hit for all. Now what was that Spell Hogwarts taught us that made idiots forget so we can repeal these stupid state laws against selling direct?
  2. Found this interesting story on a New Taxi that Singapore has created to help reduce green house gas and clean up their cities. Taxi can go 200km or 125 miles on a single charge and recharges 100% in 15 min. Full story here http://www.straitstimes.com/news/singapore/transport/story/made-singapore-electric-taxi-charges-fast-goes-the-distance-20150512
  3. Here are some very COOL Transit Connect Custom jobs! Clearly some get it that custom can make it happen and Rock a cool Look!
  4. Interesting at least the Chinese money is going to have a factory here.
  5. Interesting, I wonder how many they can really sell to be profitable.
  6. You mean the same types of subsidies that go towards CNG and Hydrogen vehicles? Also: those 'billions' aren't anything compared to the near $4.8 billion in subsidies that US oil companies receive yearly. Your country could've rebuilt $11 billion-worth of infrastructure instead of bailing out GM. The federal government's $2.4 billion electric's pledge goes to research, development and encourages local manufacturing. California's rebate program is around $110.2 million, and most other states/provinces count their rebate program pledges in the low million area. That's a drop in the bucket. Your government isn't forcing anyone to buy anything. They're making electric's more attractive, but you're still free to buy a Durango if you desire. I would agree that the OIL COMPANIES DO NOT need the billions they get from the GOV. I also think all alternative forms could be killed off for tax dollars and let the market decide. I get nothing from the benefits of CNG in WASHINGTON state. For me I sell a product that is better than traditional Petrol. Long term it pays for itself. When your tall like me, small auto's do not work. So I need my big auto's and the CAFE just needs to go away.
  7. Wonder how long till a quad turbo V6 as the new race engine of choice. Or as proven by EV West web site who built an electric race car that set a world record racing up Pikes Peak. Had 840 HP and 1120 lb-ft of torque. That puts the Viper to Shame!
  8. How about the fact that millions of vans have just been worn out by the trade industry and services need to replace these vans finally. So now we have a demand. Once all vans are updated / replaced we will see another lull. Personally most are pretty ugly to me.
  9. & Care to provide examples? The only 'restrictions' were market-driven high fuel prices. How about we start with the billions given out of tax payers dollars for electric auto's. We could better use that money to pay down debt and rebuild basic infrastructure than give away free electric everything. If the product is built right then the people will buy it and not need incentives.
  10. That is awesome, yes not right but still he got what he had coming after taking her spot and clearly blowing off the old woman with a I am better than you attitude and keeps talking on his phone.
  11. While I am sure this is an amazing car to drive and I would not pass up the chance to test drive it. I have to say that the look of the auto is lost compared to the original viper.
  12. Sure, like 'Malibu Classic'… You hit the nail on the head, this BMW refresh is 1990's Old and the Dash is 80's Old. There is nothing fresh or new about this auto. Just old news rehashed.
  13. Wish the gov would realize that people will buy what they want and stop trying to force a green groups agenda on everyone.
  14. Still a superior auto compared to anything Mercedes-Benz or BMW builds in their entry level hybrids!
  15. How exactly is it a waste of money? It was already in development as an Alfa until Alfa decided to abandon the work the was done in conjunction with Mazda. If the work was done, the money was spent... I'd say the additional budget to slap a Fiat badge on it in place of Alfa's was a minimal investment, and likely well worth it. It was a waste from the very begining. Fiat has not learned a damn lesson on building quality products and keeps flushing money down the drain on the stupid Alfa line. They need to focus on fixing the terrible quality in the Fiat line, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Ram. Yes all of them have some very big issues that should be fixed before wasting another billion dollars on a pipe dream of building and selling Alfa's again in the US or even Europe. World market has way to many OEM name plates and we could do with another round of consolidation to clean up the auto industry on a global scale.
  16. What a waste of Money. The original Fiat Spyder was just junk and spent more time broken than working. FIAT should be spending this money on existing auto's and get them working as world class quality and then look to see if they really need the auto line.
  17. Not to stir the pot in yet another Cadillac thread (this is getting old), but have you seen this? Or looked up depreciation through a cost-to-own site such as KBB's? Or perused Cars.com or Autotrader listings for that matter? I think you'll see interesting things that may be slightly out of sync with what you want to see. Just saying... ANYHOW, that pricing seems appropriate given the previous model's pricing and the lower rung models' pricing, new vs. old. Perfecto. We'll it is the washington post, always a political point to be made. Do not trust them on anything related to the auto industry.
  18. Let talk about JEEP and their less than 2% fixed on their recalls especially the tank exploding recall.
  19. To me this is a very bland auto on the outside and the inside looks very dated already.
