Agree with what you say about the Explorer. Having test drove them with my son and family. It was interesting to see that the XLT and Platinum are bigger compared to the Sport model. Sport and Platinum both have the turbo V6 but clearly interior size and exterior is different. Even the sales person pointed this out, you want more room inside, XLT or Platinum. Want fun factor but with less interior and exterior size, you go sport. Was interesting, but after then going and test driving the Jeep GC, I would take the GC over the Explorer or MDX, but take the Explorer in Platinum over the MDX. I can understand the need for a 3rd row. Must be the difference in size of family members.

@A Horse With No Name Thank you, I do like the new Enclave. I found my two favorite colors for the exterior are Black Cherry Havanna Metallic Interior colors of the 4 they offer I pass on the all black and Cashmere and go for: Brandy Or Chestnut Gotta say I like what I am seeing for Buick.

How is that, I made a choice to start posting in the political forum to create discussion. Some of us and I consider myself to be part of that group tried to discuss what is going on in our country and around us. Others choose to troll or worse. I have seen a limited number of people drive discussions and most people have chosen to ignore till lately. The idiom of truth hurts seems to have hit nerves as some would rather stick to ideology in extreme rather than openly debate and discuss ways to make things better. End result, we showed that politics on this forum could not be done in an intelligent manner. Back to auto discussions and posts. I am working on a new one to be up soon.

OUCH, FAILURE! One only has to look at Boeing and the Dream liner to learn that simulations only and direct to production equipment fails. Cost to Boeing was billions to fix the problems of having parts built all over the world and not connecting up fit n finish. Tesla could be killing themselves with this error. I truly hope not, but have yet to see simulations that could actually make perfections of moving from prototype to production with no alpha or beta. Yes you could say they did a merge of those two to hit their self imposed deadlines. Be interesting to see how the first few auto's come out.

Very true, but then you have others bring business, corrupt policy etc. into the discussion causing response. Cause and effect. seems to run everywhere every day.

I understand and am sorry you have to deal with so many ignorant kids. I hope I do not cause you too much stress in trying to keep and drive the political discussion in the political forum area. We could always just kill it and go back to driving only auto discussion and slap each of us if we do bring up anything political.

I really hope Ford and GM bring out EV versions of their Pony cars. I wonder why I have not found an EV Camero yet?

Agreed, I truly wonder if GM will be back to manufacturing auto's and selling auto's in Venezuela in the next 2-5 years. I wonder just how far the country will sink into self implosion before they throw out the whole so called Socialist government?

Hurst, it would be awesome if they came out with some cool gadgets for EV auto's! Hurst could reinvent themselves and help push the Muscle car EV market!

My bet is you could bring it into compliance far more easily than you could a diesel or most turbo motors.

True, salt is banned for the most part from use on roads in Washington state. Bio-Friendly ice melt is used instead. Back on Topic, I wonder if the old Supercharged 3600 V6 would fit in the new Regal, that was a bad ass motor. Do your maintenance and it lasted for a long time.

Yea, I get the rust issue, though I will say I never had a rust problem on mine. But then I am OCD about keeping my auto's clean.
