  1. Hope this works out for them as I could care less about Fiat and the rest of the Italian garbage, but for the American Name plates, I would like to see them survive.
  2. Gotta love Nature hitting back. Sad for the Elephants, but no love for wanna be hunters aka big game hunters. Real hunters only kill for food. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trophy-hunter-dies-after-wounded-elephant-crushes-him-in-zimbabwe/ar-BBBnAVE?li=BBnbfcL
  3. Agree, I have played with the finger print electronic door locks. But since we have seen so much high tech intrusion by hackers, I am wary of having cameras in my house, around it or electronic door locks that a smarter person than me or the gov could hack and get into. Latest versions my daughter got seem to work with no problem on her iPhone. My wife and I like to keep our hands open so no gloves for us. Then Seattle is not that cold for winter time.
  4. WOW, Very nice!
  5. Yes, Yes he did Master Yoda. Chevy paid the highest compliment by coping and then building a better small block that everyone loves to have.
  6. Maybe you should have built a better engine.
  7. Hellcat or Demon 300 would for sure drive some more interest in the 300, Chryslers lone sedan.
  8. Nicely Stated! @oldshurst442 I can respect your dislike of the screens in an auto. I on the other hand love them, I love the customization of what info you want and the various ways to present said info. I love having HUD. Once you drive an auto with HUD and custom screens, touch or not, it is very hard to go back to old style traditional manual gauges. If you have not test drove an auto like the corvette or any of the cadillac systems with HUD, I encourage you to do so, go through and choose one of the default screens to see the various differences including their old school analog gauge cluster look and still have HUD and I bet you will come to really like it. Pretty freakin cool. Course as a computer engineer, I love old to learn from, but preferre newer the better. Move forward is always good with tech.
  9. Grunge started here in Seattle, Big hit, the locals are very upset and many tributes to him. http://www.seattletimes.com/entertainment/music/tears-laughter-flow-from-crowd-of-400-at-chris-cornell-wake-at-kexp/
  10. Yes, Snide as I hate Sergio. Cool for the 300! Love the Idea of this for the 300. I think Sergio should have reinvested the profits into Chrysler rather than the stupid Alfa.
  11. Reminds me of your Shocking Personality!
  12. Chryslers last Hurrah? Hellcat 300? Autoblog, a news source you can love and hate and question, but is this late breaking story valid? Does it have teeth? Autoblog is reporting a possible Hellcat 300 might be in the works. Based on the pictures, I would say it is hard to say other than this has that traditional 3-4 inches of tire sticking out, brembo breaks so it might be true but then where the pictures are taken makes one wonder if this is just a personal pet project. http://www.autoblog.com/2017/05/18/chrysler-may-be-testing-a-hellcat-300/?hcid=hp-tile-small-4 So what are your thoughts? Is chrysler going out with a big bang?
  13. So your saying take this concept and turn it into a CUV AWD auto?
  14. This is not a surprise as in India the local auto companies are subsidized heavily by the Indian Gov. This always makes it hard for an external company to compete. Plus GM has never really had subcompact featured cars that could be sold in a cheap market. Africa is a nightmare that I agree on totally to pull out of. Smart, let Isuzu have the market.
  15. You might not be real, but I am! JK In other news, seems the testers exposed their Dash! http://www.trucktrend.com/future-trucks/1705-2019-chevrolet-silverado-1500-interior-spied/ Flashing by GM, will it never end?
  16. @oldshurst442 I am surprised that the funeral business only uses car based hursts. Yet then I search and find out that there is a company building them off SUV's. OK, I now will say officially the XTS needs to die. This is a far better last ride machine! Imagine this as the new Ghost Busters Ride!
  17. With BMW auto's turning into fire storms and burning peoples houses down, I do not see a bright future over the near term for them. I suspect now that many countries are looking into this self burning of the auto's, BMW is going to have to deal with an ugly short term mess.
  18. Spontaneous BMW Combustion and BMW is ignoring it kinda! Came across this story and wow, is this weird. Yup we have heard stories of Humans who spontaneously combust, but BMW? Owners are saying it and some are even being paid to keep quiet according to this ABC story I came across. http://abcnews.go.com/Business/bmw-mystery-fires-abc-news-investigation/story?id=47335778 Seems these fires have happened from sitting for days or just being turned off, but something is causing these German Driving Machines to spontaneously combust. Makes you wonder if this could be BMW's version of GM's Ignition scandal, VW diesel gate or Takata airbags?
  19. BOLT Ad and Deals Seems California is not the only place that has gone over on big deals. Based on looking up this dealership, Maryland has starting July 1st. a $3,000 credit that can be applied at time of purchase to reduce the cost of the EV along with the feds $7,500 benefit. Not so sure about the special effects though!
  20. GM States Desire to be First to Profit from Mass Selling EVs. http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1110469_gm-goal-profitable-affordable-electric-cars-built-in-big-numbers Seems GM is focusing on lower the cost of the batteries sooner rather than later and to turn a profit from EVs. This brings up the question: With China pushing for such high numbers of EV to be sold in that country, could we see a faster decline of ICE auto's and a rapid rise of EVs?
  21. According to the web site Motor authority, Karma has shipped their first new cars off the assembly line to their 8 dealers. Auto starts at $130,000 and goes up for a plug in hybrid that has 50 miles pure electric and a turbo 4 banger generator for a total range of 300 miles. http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1096957_2017-karma-revero-starts-delivery
  22. Very cool, to read this on the MB EV concept auto. http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1110498_british-magazine-gets-ride-in-all-electric-mercedes-eq-concept Clearly a very different way to drive and how to send power to just front or just rear wheels.
  23. I can honestly say that my own parents who are baby boomers do not like the CT6 but love the XTS. With that said, yes you might have 10% of the XTS sales cannibalizing CT6 sales but not much more if that. Looking at both side by side and sitting in them, clearly two different beasts and appealing to two different customers. Ride alone is where you divide the type of customer and this is very much age driven.
