Industry News: California Mulls Ban On Combustion Engines
@ccap41 If you would, I would love to know your zip code and current auto your driving. I can then look at the average cost of gas and the average cost of a kWh of Electricity and post the comparison of you driving your car a month to an EV. It would be interesting to see plugging in at home with no more trips to the gas station versus your current routine. I know for me, the Trailblazer SS AWD goes through $400 a month in Gas for 1200 miles driven a month. The Chevy Bolt would cost just under $30 a month. So the change not only covers the cost of the auto especially with some of the deals going on but I save big time.

I understand your Personal reason. Yet you could Choose if you wanted to change your habits if one wanted to embrace an EV. Then at the same time lead the complaints to your local representatives about investing in the charging infrastructure to get more. The west coast did this years ago and now we have a growing and well established network. Personal Choice I get, change is harder for some than others. It is a choice.

R.I.P. Hugh Hefner 91 Playboy Founder Plenty of news, so sad but Hefner is dead. Guy started the main stream of porn, boys fantasy and the Bunny clubs. He has in one way or another touched so many people with his image of life and woman and how it spun off the start of Playgirl. May he rest in peace! So did Playboy have any affect on your life growing up? First place I fell in love with Asian Woman. Thanks Hef! Sound Off, Did Playboy have any affect on you growing up?

DELL EMC I have things in the works as I figure I will be back into my own business again or possibly with a few partners. Two areas I am looking into are the two passions of mine, EV's and AI. I actually posted in the Tesla forum that I feel the Tesla 3 is going to be a very dangerous auto to drive. In the day of distracted driving where one needs to keep their eyes on the road, the lack of HUD and having everything down and to the right where you have to take your eyes off the road will make it an accident waiting to happen. Course, people attacked me and I have since found my account is disabled and my comment gone. So much for intellectual discussion about concerns with the Tesla 3. Considering that much of the auto is controlled through that single touch screen, one does have to wonder just how reliable that auto will be. It is going to be an interesting rest of the year as they roll out the Tesla 3 and we see how people respond to the interface. I wonder how soon before one is totalled?

For the west coast, yes, Level 3 quick chargers are now standard. The public and Professional drag races are pretty cool seeing all the various teams that are going EV. Check out NEDRA, the West Coast EV Drag Racing association. Also check out the European EV Drag Racing, crazy cars at 500HP Current World fastest EV Drag Racer, VW Beetle baby with a 9.5 sec run.
