True, but it was the best picture I could find showing the difference from rear to front. I agree that air damn is crazy silly. Ocnblu did the right thing removing it.

Jeep News: Great Wall Motor Says They're Interested in Buying Jeep
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
https://www.fcagroup.com/en-US/investors/financial_regulatory/financial_reports/files/FCA_NV_2017_06_30_Semi_Annual_Report.pdf Talk about creative accounting, NAFTA is shown to be a money losing debt, but the bulk of sales is here in NAFTA and they show Europe especially Fiat, Alfa, etc. brands to be profitable. I wonder how the Chinese will feel about taking on large chunks of delayed liabilities and taxes. Very interesting financial report. LOL Sergio says his Alfa will sell 170K auto's in 2017. Interesting read. http://www.autonews.com/article/20170603/RETAIL01/170609910/alfa-romeo-stelvio-crossover-sergio-marchionne Interesting that this latest story covering his pay package and incentives is very grey in regards to what those pay incentives are. FCA own filing is very vague. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-fiat-chrysler-ceo-idUSKBN1682UV- 25 replies

Jeep News: Great Wall Motor Says They're Interested in Buying Jeep
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
Agree, many lost chances, Sergio the Ignorant really messed up when he could have reinvested the Billions he stole to bring back Alfa from the History books and could have beefed up the FCA US products to increase more profits and then used said profits to do his own pet Italian garbage projects.- 25 replies

Jeep News: Great Wall Motor Says They're Interested in Buying Jeep
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
So True, I honestly only see a Chinese buyer for the Full FCA US portfolio as FCA Euro is all about their trashy Fiat, Alfa crud. I can see a Chinese auto company buying up FCA US, expanding and growing Jeep, Ram for the US and select global markets and then use their Chinese auto's to bring back Dodge and Chrysler or they truly kill off Chrysler and inform the dealers that they are now going to be a Wang Dealer as an example. I personally think there is still a glut of brands and as such, some are going to have to join the history books. I love the Dodge history and would like to see them survive, but I can honestly see Chrysler being killed off, move the mini van to Dodge and call it a day.- 25 replies

BMW News: 2018 BMW M5 Arrives with 600 Horsepower, AWD
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in BMW
BMW could have so gone a different path and set a new bar for performance if they really wanted too. I was also channeling SMK who always bitches about Cadillac using engines from other sister product lines. While most of us accept the product sharing across product lines, Detuned or uptuned makes no difference. The look of the auto inside and out is still Meh, not much has changed other than the weight drop and engine. Sarcasm is so hard to get across in posts. -
Saw a New Silverado Z71 red just like this one from the auto show and from the Back, I am thinking awesome OEM lift, great departure angle, nice clean and clear for offroading and then I get up by the front and all I can think is WTF GM! That stupid Airdam just destroys any approach angle. They should NOT have that stupid plastic piece on the bumper and instead should have light weight strong plastic panels underneath to smooth the airflow. What a joke that they do that. It is a freakin truck designed for off road, not sipping fuel.

BMW News: 2018 BMW M5 Arrives with 600 Horsepower, AWD
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in BMW
So they took the old M5, replaced old steel with Aluminum, Carbon Fiber to find some weight reduction, put creases into the body work as otherwise not much different than the outgoing M5. Plus to point out the problem with this auto, it uses the same TTV8 as other products by BMW and version lines. Why not it's own special powertrain or Hybrid powertrain to make it stand out? They so could have gone in-wheel hub motors keeping it AWD, have 2000lb feet of torque and 600HP. Just more Meh from Germany! -
2018 BMW M5 Arrives with 600 Horsepower, AWD
G. David Felt commented on William Maley's article in BMW
Yawn, MEH! WOW, Really surprised that all they did is update the motor, throw some aluminum and carbon fiber at it and then creases in the sheet metal to make it look more mad or angry. Not impressed and why are they using the same TT-V8 that is in so many other models from this nameplate? According to some every auto should have their own distinct engines not shared with any other auto. This engine is found throughout the BMW product lines. -
Jeep News: Great Wall Motor Says They're Interested in Buying Jeep
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
So could FCA throw in Ram, Dodge and Chrysler in Selling Jeep? Could FCA get $33 Billion for the 4 nameplates? Wonder how much FCA thinks all 4 combined is worth? Right now we all know that Jeep is what is keeping the rest of FCA afloat. Interesting- 25 replies

Quick Drive: 2017 Dodge Durango GT and Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
@ocnblu My friend you can down vote all my EV posts you want but the future is not going to go backwards. China has made it very clear that starting next year and moving forward they are on an aggressive 5 year hybrid / EV everything only for their country. It is why the Grand Wagoneer is a Hybrid first before anything else as Jeep has stated they will sell it in China as well as the US. Trust me when I say you will come to love the Torque Monsters that EV's can be with high speed.- 25 replies

BMW News: What Is In BMW's Future Product Pipeline?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in BMW
I doubt Maybach was ever profitable, amount of marketing, parts numbers to material dies, assembly, so much goes into a model / brand segment and the hours of people working on it. I doubt they recovered to a break even point on selling auto's badges as Maybach. Yes I actually scanned SMK's response and did not pick it up at first either in his post. That was a W140 chassis car, they were still selling when the W221 S-class was on sale with the same V12 and the Maybach was double the price. I bet they had profit on the Maybach, but they had no reason to keep it going. It was a failed experiment, and over reaction to BMW having Rolls, and VW having Bentley. It made more sense to dump the Maybach brand rather than do another $400,000 sedan that won't sell and doesn't bring any cache to the Mercedes logo. It is better to focus on the S-class as their ultimate sedan and offer the Maybach trim to bolster the S-class and the 3 point star.- 44 replies

Meh, Pass Yes there will be a market for this car, minor, very little, but a market nonetheless. What I see is aging X & Y generation types trying to hold onto their youth as it slips between their fingers.- 15 replies
