    I would totally agree with your review. My own takes have been anything but positive. Mazda has allot to do to catch up and I do not see them being able till they merge with another company as they are just too small and too short of funds to R&D better auto's. I also do not see Mazda becoming a Luxury competitor.

    Spent yesterday Skiing 17.56 Miles in the morning and wine tasting in the afternoon. Was a great Saturday! Gas fill up by the Fred Meyers by my house and they have a New Tesla Supercharging station going in! Sking the 37" of fresh Powder on Double Diamond was a Blast! Stopped by Columbia Winery and had a tasty tasting and picked up some for later! Relaxed at Home Watching Jason Bourne Movie and enjoying an 08 Cab Sauv!

    Yet many DO NOT need a Full size or Mid Size truck. This is a great looking truck with plenty of great options, but like @Drew Dowdell no V6 is a NO GO for me. I think Ford missed the Boat, they could have cleaned up with a modern Mini Pickup that offered all these configs. I do believe that many people especially in the City want a mini pickup for their various projects.

    Not bad, I like what Ford has done, I still believe there is a market for the Mini Pickup truck done right over the mid size pickup.

    We'll not a fan of the multi layered look in side of the dash, I think the GMC is better looking right now with what they are selling and I do not like the Roman color tabs between the upper and lower light sections. Right now I think Chevy has gone down in their style for their SUV/Trucks. I thought the last design style was better than this and GMC was weaker but then they seem to flip flop between the two divisions. Interested to see what GMC does.

    Awesome reading, very informative and I enjoyed it. Thanks for the review Bill. Learned some good things. Dash is not bad, interior looks better than others in this class. Exterior is what I have come to expect from Toyota. It should do well for those that love Toyota. QUESTION: You state there is a button for EV mode. So then you always have to push this when you first get in to run on pure electric only till the battery is depleted? QUESTION: How many miles in pure EV mode does it support and what is the top speed in EV mode? QUESTION: Anyway to make EV mode always on by default?

    COOL, GM is asking Uncle Sam to allow them to have true driverless auto's in the US.     Tested on Android with Chrome and Firefox and it looks and works great. Even works smooth on Samsung own funky browser.

    I looked at all the pictures and did not see the V8 exhaust tip, Did I miss it as the tips in the pictures above remind me more of a Chevy Bowtie.

    I know the stories say the hood scoop will not be there, but I can see it on a V edition of the Car. Yes it has the over all body of the Escala car and I will say for a 4 door coupe sedan it is one of the better executed if they hold close to the concept. Yet with that, being said and as we have discussed how homogenized the car segment has become, I was hoping for something more. I wonder how close to the interior it will stay?

    Meh, no big deal, I like the cross grill better, but I am sure this will sell to the faithful and grow on everyone.

    Since we have seen crease lines on the lower section of the sides of an auto, you would think you could play more with the Aero roof and pillars to give it a better look. I agree with you totally right now the Coupe 4 door look is so homogenized to be forgettable.

    Car is a fine generic car as cars go, red lines added a sports car do not make. I guess I am just not a VW customer as it is still very bland looking, forgettable to me.

    Guess it is a Malibu / MB Coupe based butt. Over all I dislike the lack of distinct rear decks. Coupe design is overdone now on all auto's.

    Nope clarified my original post, Acura worst, then Edge, Lincoln best out of the 3.

    WOW, Talk about a Butt by MB, Cut off nose for the front and just weird lines over all, Honda design language does nothing for me. Sad as they build pretty reliable auto's excluding the stupid engineering parts on their CRV from what we know via Drew.

    @ccap41 I get your point and agree with what your saying except for the Acura, Drew hit the nail on the head with the button abomination comment! In regards to the Acura, Lincoln wins best out of the 3 dash's.

    Yea, not much better in the Lincoln MKX 2018 version of the Edge. Sorry @ccap41, but for the money we know they will charge for this, they need to do much better than this.
