Yup as I said in my posting of this story a while back, I will take a NA 3 L V6 over a Turbo 2 L 4 any day.

I would not totally agree with you on this, look at Audi and how EVERYTHING is based on a FWD platform with AWD option and it has not hurt them. My big issue with the Continental is for such a large supposed to be Luxury car, the interior space SUCKS. Especially back seat as there is NO SPACE for big guys. My personal test is set the front seat for myself to be comfy and then get in behind the seat and i have to open my legs to push up on the sides of the front seat and bend my neck and fold up as there is no head room or legroom.

I expect the only way to get a decent MPG for this Hypercar is if they put in the supercapacitors from the EV F1 racing that give a boost to the electric motors, then you might get a .25% increase in MPG while you get a huge boost in performance.

Better if we all just stop using the fictional EPA ratings since they do not seem to ever materialize. Believe it when you actually see it in real world driving.

You might want to hold off blowing your MB Horn till you actually sit in a Trackhawk. The interior is very nice. MB is equal to it but other than the overblown S line, AMG is only on par.

Industry News: Houston-Area Dealers See A Deluge of Buyers
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
Yes, looking at Leaf 1.0, your right, they are very cheap to pick up used and make an outstanding cheap commuter car. Talking True EV's with distance is a very different beast and used Tesla's hold their value very well. Used ICE Auto's at the start of the 1900's also were IN THE BASEMENT, people laughed at those who bought them over a dependable sturdy Horse. Yet here we are with you defending ICE against the Future EV's. Seems you have allot in common with the conservative stubborn Horse owners of the early 1900's.- 21 replies

Industry News: Houston-Area Dealers See A Deluge of Buyers

LOL What a silly thing to post considering it is a 2 and half year old news story. Just at the start of incentives and better EV/Hybrids that are out today. California is showing that this is not true since 5%+ of auto sales in that state which this story is based on is the current pace.- 21 replies

Grant that I think the Interior is nice. Exterior is just so BLAND to me. Nothing about this excites me with the Design language. Hell you could put a Hyundai or Kia nameplate on the car and most people would not know it was actually a Porsche.

August 2017: General Motors Co.
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Sales Figure Ticker
Very Cool info and pics on the upcoming C8 http://www.automobilemag.com/news/2019-chevrolet-corvette-c7-zr1-c8-zora-expect/ Loved this from the story: "Although not confirmed, a Cadillac sports car based on the mid-engine Corvette is believed to be under development. GM has trademarked the Manta Ray name for a performance variant of the C8 and E-Ray for a performance hybrid." I really Hope the e-Ray is for a pure EV version rather than a Hybrid.- 191 replies

I never am Miserable, I love all I drive and enjoy all the choices we have. Just the OCD in me pays attention to the details far more than others and I expect a car to start out rust free. Sadly I have noticed that many various OEM builders seem to start a new auto out with rusty parts that I have to question.- 191 replies

Cool, I get it, Land Rover loves the Jeep Trailhawk edition and wants a version of that on their own, so red accent marks, a few tweaks here and there plus a winch and they have the Land Rover Trailhawk edition aka SVX. America builds it and they will come. The English wants what America has.

The only F1 that I find interesting is the EV F1 racing where every team has 2 identical auto's and they truly have to race on driver skill. Otherwise the F1 ICE racing is so boring. Nascar is more entertaining, Hell just going to the local dirt racing track is a better night out than watching F1 on TV.
