Surprised by the big drop in Continental sales, Navigator is to be expected, I am thinking the over all negative sales numbers is the change over in model year as people hold off on buying.

Surprised by the Regal big sales gain. Bolt is solid for the month. Over all not bad for coming off a record year before and still keeping solid sales overall.

We have heard it all before, Sergio the Idiot, Moron, Waste of CEO Money, political butt kissing enigma. Rather than reinvest the profits into the american brands making them better, Chrysler is just about dead. Fiat should have never been brought here and Alfa, wasted effort of trying to resurrect the brand. I honestly am surprised by how Dodge continues to roll on such dated product lines. Ram hopefully will pick up more with the 2019 models and Jeep is surviving on the cult following with some decent improvements on old platforms. I really wish I understood the thinking at FCA headquarters on their stupid decisions for the brands.

Yes it does make total sense, the quality of build in the VOLT over the Cruze is clearly noticeable. They are just as cheap so why not get a Volt where you can if you have access use the battery plug in and the rest of the time have a great very efficient and very quiet auto to drive. Drew hit the parts I missed in my response so we have a clear full valid reason to consider it.

Seems Rome has announced that starting in 2024 all Diesel auto's will be banned from city streets. I would take Geely as owner for the American brands over Fiat. I could see Geely kill off chrysler or use it to bring in their own rebadged Geely auto's. Fiat I can see being killed off and even Alfa if Geely did buy them. My gut tells me the debt load that FCA is carrying is the main reason for a low offer by Geely and FCA wants to ignore the truth of how indebted they are.

ECONOMICAL Yes they get solid high mpg, but due to the much higher cost of the powertrain as well as the cost of the fuel, it has been proven that for 90% Plus of buyers, Diesel is NOT ECONOMICAL! balthazar and others did the math and it ran from 10 to 20 years to break even on Diesel! ECONOMICAL

Yet the Volt does not have to be plugged in. You can still get outstanding Fuel Economy using the generator on board. I have multiple coworkers that never really bother to charge their Volt and yet love it.

Totally agree with all you stated, looked in my area and was surprised to find 2012-2015 Chevy Volts from $9,999 to $14,999 with 25K to 60K miles on them. 2016 and 2017 Volts with 5K to 15K miles were all in the 20-22K range. considerable discount from a new 2018 model. Surprised that a 14-16K drop from new to one that barely has a years worth of driving on them. Some good deals.
