Porsche News: Upcoming 911 Plug-In Hybrid Could Be the Most Powerful 911 Yet
Exciting but they must do better than 700BHP. Tesla already has this staked in the ground with their AWD S model. 2018 Tesla S P100D 760 HP / 920 Lb-Ft Torque 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid TTV8 / Electric assist = 680 HP / 626 Lb-Ft Torque Less just say, that Tesla is the Yard Stick and Porsche has some catching up to do.

How many GM vehicles...
Cool history on the company here though. http://www.u-s-history.com/pages/h1809.html Cool Info here with sales data back to 1998 https://www.statisticbrain.com/general-motors-statistics/ Nice History of GM here also, though focused on Canada. http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/corporate/about/ourhistory/detail Also love this 95 years of Chevy Trucks story. http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2012/10/95-years-of-chevy-pickup-history.html

How many GM vehicles...
Agree with you on the Olds Gas conversion to Diesel engine sell. That was the start of death for them. My dad had an auto repair business and I cannot tell you how many Olds Diesel auto's with less than 30K miles had blown and people paid to have the motor replaced with a gas motor as Olds had all kinds of excuses of why it was the owners fault and would not honor the warranty of an engine replacement. Old shot themselves big time with this mess.

In that case, then you have the following top 5 options for VIN checking for reported accidents/repairs. Problem is that 3rd party repair shops are not required to report auto repairs and as such there is no complete system that I am aware of. http://www.autocheck.com - Alternative to Carfax http://www.vehiclehistory.gov - National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) https://www.nicb.org - National Insurance Crime Bureau https://www.carproof.com - alternative to Carfax, but focused on auto's built in Canada shipped into the US. If US built, not going to help. http://www.internetautoguide.com - Another way to look for info on used or new auto's. Then as you mentioned, Consumer Reports or as I mentioned JD Powers or TrueDelta.

I have Thor Ragnok and The Shape of Water. Both great movies. Surprised that The Shape of Water won so many awards and with the sexuality in the movie. WOW. Still awesome movie.

Not really sure what you are looking for then as there is no reporting by the auto companies on their repairs, failures, etc. As such websites based on input from people about their auto seems to be the best there is. The only other place I can think of would be JD Powers, but again that is based on feedback from auto owners.

Jaguar News: 2019 Jaguar I-Pace to Start At $70,495
We'll My i-Pace Build comes out to $89,940 seems fully loaded you hit just under $95,000. Just those last few options I really don't care about. So I doubt I would take them unless the dealership ordered fully loaded and then discounted it. I really like the ability to go monochromatic on the car and drop all the brushed aluminum on the outside. I also love the warm brown interior option. I really love that they let you build the auto and then create a PDF file of your custom build with all details and costs. GDF-Jaguar-i-pace-Configuration.pdf

Jaguar News: 2019 Jaguar I-Pace to Start At $70,495
Seems weird that they have no updated pic of the i-Pace trunk, but then it is in that regards just like the ICE F-Pace CUV. @William Maley Seems they have updated the web site for i-Pace and they now state that the starting price is $69,500 for this EV. https://www.jaguarusa.com/all-models/i-pace/index.html?abkid=424-649526&utm_content=content&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=%2Bjaguar %2Bi %2Bpace&utm_campaign=JCB_FL_130 - I-PACE - 2016&c

Chevrolet News:Chevrolet Silverado Adds Medium Duty To The Family
Extra power is always nice, but I think you miss read the story Bill wrote. There is emission requirements for the medium duty class and the full Duramax Power clearly in a Medium Duty format would exceed those emissions. As such a detuned version. This also leave 3rd party open to offering performance upgrades and also the ability to just reflash the chip to the higher value after being sold by the owner.

A Change of Heart
I was all about Mustangs and Camaros growing up, probably due to working with my dad in his repair shop and building racers, but now I have little care for cars but love SUV / Trucks. Them along with EV CUVs is the future for me.
