  1. Toyota Quality! TRD Style Frame Rot
  2. @balthazar Please confirm or correct me but it seems 1936 built by Chevy Coupe Pickups? Cool found a 1937 Terraplane Hudson Coupe Pickup. I can now see a Nod to the Past in building a CUV Pickup. Very cool!
  3. Weird, but all my searches for a Coupe Crew Cab Pickup keeps bringing me to these type of trucks. Anything but a Coupe Style I think, but still a cool old Ford Pickup that should be restored into a Rat rod or performance cool truck.
  4. Makes sense considering that people want the ability of a pickup and SUV in the same auto.
  5. Thank you my man, I was in a hurry and that is what I get for thinking dead people and confusing it with auto power.
  6. More British, less desire. Product lineup that is slowly dying. Kinda like the British Empire died.
  7. Amazing video to watch, comments by the people watching this iced up overpass are funny. Latest chart on the top Gas Guzzlers sold in the US!
  8. Interior I am up in the air on and am thinking it could be the pictures, but have to wait to see it in person as to weather or not it is really as Grand as they claim. Exterior, this is one of the nicer CUVs they have built. I like the Brick traditional SUV shape.
  9. Kia has a partnership with GM for small cars, I have not had the time to chase down what all their partnership might involve, but if they have access to the Bolt underbody, it would make for a fast build to enter the EV market. If this assumption is just that ASSumption then I still think they are farther out and just using the specs of the BOLT to build a competitive CUV. Interesting times we live in my friendly little Cube!
  10. Kia and GM do have JV agreements in place and it is possible that we are not aware that Kia could use the Bolt platform after a year or so. Be interesting to see if we can find out if this is or just a really close clone as what is released so far makes is seem like just another Bolt EV.
  11. I think Kia is building this on the same BOLT platform as everything matches up. It will be good for the marketplace and I do like the SciFi design language.
  12. Cool Tesla Videos Thread
  13. Any Idea who built this truck? Cool looking! Cool old truck, looks like they took the front end of a car and added a bucket to it. Liked the look of the 3/4 ton Studebaker Pickup.
  14. Crazy Climate Change. WOW
  15. I honestly see no reason for the continued investment in Hydrogen producing electricity to drive an electric auto. The amount of energy needed to produce the hydrogen and then break it apart to produce electricity with only a water vapor is beyond common sense at this time. I honestly can only see a few of these being made for the LA market that has the only few Hydrogen fuel stations. I wonder how much government money is being spent to off set this research project?
  16. Agree, I am also scratching my head as to why have the Q8 so close in size to the Q7 and only 2 rows at that.
  17. XT5 comes in at: 189.5 inch length, 112.5 inch wheelbase, 75 inch width. Q8 comes in at: 197.64 inch length, 118.11 inch wheelbase, 80.32 inch width. Q7 comes in at: 199.6 inch length, 117.9 inch wheelbase, 77.5 inch width. So yes, you could say this is the next size up category but almost identical to the Q7 in size. Interesting
  18. Fixed it for you as I assume you meant the XT5. I will have to disagree with you. XT5 has the more SUV brick look over the overused Coupe look. Also not sure why as my eyes could be playing tricks on me but I think the XT5 has the longer hood which is a nod to the cadillac of old days with a long front hood. Audio looks more like a car that they pumped up on Steroids compared to a more traditional SUV look on the XT5
  19. Frogger I did not think about it till I compared side by side and your right very similar profiles for these two CUVs. Thinking on what Frogger has said, I take the Cadillac over the Audi as I like the stronger brick look over the coupe look, but very similar.
  20. I agree with you that the numbers are close in a very cramped market segment. Yet Motor Trend seems to think differently: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/cadillac/ats-v/2017/ QUOTE: This was the best handling sedan of the high-performance group, “The results are clear: with tires no more aggressive than the other cars’, the ATS-V slaughters its competitors with 1.03 g of steady-state cornering grip and a staggering 23.7-second figure-eight performance. That’s not only 0.3 second quicker than the next-best Mercedes, but the list of supercars the Caddy beats is embarrassingly long.” Editors love the ATS-V’s platform and find the powerful brakes, and well-weighted steering extremely capable on the track and through any curvy canyon. This is what used to be said all the time about BMW M series or MB AMG series. Digital Trends seems to think inline with Motor Trend: https://www.digitaltrends.com/car-reviews/2017-cadillac-ats-v-coupe-review/ QUOTE: The ATS-V feels more like an old-school performance car than the C63 and the M4. It’s not as refined or as luxurious, but it’s rawer, and offers a more visceral driving experience with a devil-may-care attitude. It’s more playful than an RS 5 thanks to its rear-wheel drive layout, though that comes at the obvious expense of traction. There are plenty of alternatives to the Caddy but they’re not necessarily better or worse; they each have their own distinct personality. What matters is the ATS-V holds its own against the competition.
  21. Good News indeed for The Kansas plant. Hope it all works out for them.
