Nothing shocking about this I think to everyone in the world, car sales are making it very hard to keep them going. I would expect others to mimic and reduce car types that they sell. I bet the german brands will reduce the types of cars sold over the next year.

Have to say I like this body style over the XT5. Wish they had just designed the interior space better.

Very true, sadly not sure how one could better train people walking to not Zombie in front of a moving auto because their smartphone is so much more important than paying attention to where one walks.

The smog back then from Leaded gas auto's just amazes me that we did not kill ourselves off sooner. Crazy! ?

My gut tells me this is not anything new about SUVs, but more of a distracted driving issue. We have clearly those that love to drive and those that care less. On top of the idiots that think driving is a privilege and anyone should be given a drivers license and allowed on the road. Lets first start with making the training more intense and focused on quality drivers before blaming the auto.

Totally makes sense, Hybrid, EV and Petro can easily replace Diesel except in Semi, medium duty and person trucks for pulling. Cars I see no reason for them anymore.

In regards to the Bailout of GM, people need to get over the history and realize that EVERYONE paid for saving MILLIONS of jobs and a far healthier company. In regards to Lincoln committed to Cars, if they can bring out true luxury Hybrid cars and CUVs that out shine the competition, they will go far, until then, the rebadge of Ford products has a long way to go. Start by putting the quality of the Navigator interior into all auto's Stat!

Style, dash, Honda's in ability to actually have a solid performing hybrid, Heck so many petro only auto's that perform better than Honda has done with their Hybrids. Volt is NOT a sub compact car.

VOLT would be superior to the Clarity Nightmare. Get a VOLT, Far superior than this car. You can get CPO Volts with less than 36K miles for 10-14K.

IF GM cannot seem to read the bones, crystal ball or what ever else you need to call it, then they need to wake up as Performance in SUVs needs to happen across all lines. GMC needs to bring back a Syclone AWD Truck and Typhoon AWD SUV just as Chevy has the RST line. Cadillac needs a V edition of the Escalade and XT line as does Buick need a Grand National or GS edition of their CUVs. These all need to be TRUE Performance not just badging.

Had dinner with the wife and daughter tonight. At the seafood place there was a brand new Stelvio right next to a Buick Rainer, if we were not running late for our dinner appointment, I would have stopped to snap a pic. I will say that I agree with the wife that the Rainier was very clean show room like for such an old SUV. Stelvio is just blah, nothing special about that cuv.
