  1. Time to kill off the unloved Fiat in the US, leave it to Europe and those 3rd world places that want and still buy the cheap little POS auto's. Alfa, is bleeding money and is mediocre at best. Time to let it go BACK into the History books. Move the platform into Dodge / Chrysler and in the Euro market grow Fiat with some bigger cars to expand options. Continue to invest in Dodge, Chrysler, Ram and especially JEEP. Sorry for the personal health issues of Serfio's family. Hello Mike, wishing you all the best in continuing to grow FCA.
  2. I REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE that Mike Manley gets the CEO position, but my gut tells me they will probably go with the European Chief Alfredo Altavilla as Italians want an idiot Itallian running the company that is kept going by American Money. Mike would make sure the US divisions that have kept Fiat going and brought JUNK Alfa back from the grave would get the focus and profits to keep building new auto's. Bye Bye Sergio, you WILL NOT be missed!
  3. That has been my understanding but in researching it, there is info that they build these 117 special versions and then I come across this one that seems to have the 6.0 but was unable to fully confirm so it is a weird anomaly.
  4. I have not used consistently any injector cleaner due to using Costco and Fred Meyers gas with detergents added by them already. I have in my old Suburban used the Techron injector cleaner as I buy it from Costco in a two pack for $16.99. Techron is great stuff.
  5. I like the sound of that, "Grand Wagoneer Electrohawk" Quick patent it before they steal it and then sell them the rights!
  6. I agree that when the Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer comes out we will have many trim levels and I suspect the Trackhawk will be an EV at the glacial pace FCA seems to get things done.
  7. I like rain, I would take it.
  8. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1117749_oil-analysts-predict-peak-consumption-in-2036 Seems many analyst feel that EVs and self driving auto's will start affecting Oil producing company by 2036 and that that will be the peak production year for Oil.
  9. http://www.autonews.com/article/20180719/RETAIL07/180719752/mark-wahlberg-chevy-dealer-ohio He has gone in 50/50 with a partner and bought Bobby Laymen Chevrolet of Columbus Ohio. He says he will have an active hand in growing the business and be on site often to help with sales. Dealership will be renamed immediately Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet. You can now buy a Chevy from Marky Mark!
  10. I was also wondering about that, but in searching FCA website you can find some interesting images but not much explaining it.
  11. Have to say that the discussion at Allpar with pictures is interesting. I love the nod to the original Grand Wagoneer. Lots of posted photoshops of what it might look like there. https://www.allpar.com/SUVs/jeep/wagoneer-jeep.html Wonder if we will still get something looking like this?
  12. America Creating European Jobs again!
  13. Paper Wheel anyone?
  14. Very cool way to sell AC for that time.
  15. Totally makes sense and I expect more announcements of companies changing production sites to avoid the tariff war.
  16. Chinese worker: "Me not come to work, me sick." Boss: "When I'm sick I have sex with my wife, try it." Chinese calls back: "It worked. Me better. You got nice house!"
  17. Yes in the past the tariff wars ended up being a shooting war. Hopefully humanity is past that and can see the destruction a shooting war would cause. PSA, Dead Horse walking. Their weirdness is too weird for the US market. They would have to really come in with a Quality product that can sell on feature functions not already found as you stated by the Asian or Germans auto companies. Unlike Terrible quality Alfa that should have been left dead, PSA would be going down a path that left a very bad taste in Americans mouth. I doubt they would have much more success now than they did then. PSA is one company I can see going away on the global stage and due to gov support staying a french weirdness only.
  18. Reminds me of the one I have on my SS.
  19. I would agree with Drew on the focus areas and yet all of this is for naught if quality is not there and we continue on the stupid destructive path of a tariff war.
