I can always respect a proper EV auto. Just cause it has a 3 point star and I would not buy it does not mean I cannot respect the engineering effort that went into it. GM / Ford / RAM would benefit from doing the same thing. EV vans that can be used for delivery / service work in the inner city will be a big win for companies by reducing service costs / fuel costs / noise and cleaner air for the City Dwellers. Still love ya Blu, keep me on my toes in Explaining why the Dark Side has better Cookies and you will join me young Padawan!

Industry News: Nissan and BMW Could Pull Production from UK
Totally agree, the Brexit and the affect on the Auto Industry, Services Industry, Tech Industry is huge. Looking at how this affects the jobs is a focus on the manual labor and hate to say it but trade union jobs rather than college educated jobs. I have seen from my own connection in the Tech industry that the Engineering design creation jobs are pretty safe, but the actual build of the products will move off shore due to the taxes / Duties of how this will affect the UK. English, Scottish, Irish are all feeling it as the lower wage jobs / manual labor / assembly type work moves off shore to places where the product does not get hit with high duties.

STS, He loves it. Wishes they still made them so he could buy another. Yes it is a late model STS. Him and I are the Cadillac champions at work, everyone else is german or asian driven. People are shocked to see our auto's. I had no Idea he had hit half a million miles on his.

Bringing your own parts to a mechanic
I did this only once with a situation that I realized I did not have the tool for, worked out OK. I do one thing all the time. When I have an issue, I check the OEM websites for pricing on the parts. This way I keep the dealership honest in charging me a fair price.

Special effects are outstanding and the story line is very solid. I am excited to see the Robots home world and what happens there. Plus there is more to the characters than other shows have. Whoever wrote the story lines did a great job on the characters and the conflict while keeping the over all show interesting. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5232792/

Not a fan of the body cladding myself, but would love to see them add decent reverse tail lights that would light up the back when going in reverse.

Volvo News: Volvo Setting 112 MPH Speed Limit on All Cars in 2020
Population control is what that is called. Imagine all the idiots we would have go away with an Autobahn style freeway system. Love the idea. Eventually it would be super safe once the morons who cannot drive or are afraid to drive are off the road. After all driving is a privilege earned and we have so many idiots that think it is a right. We really do need retraining of the drivers in this country.

Volvo News: Volvo Setting 112 MPH Speed Limit on All Cars in 2020
@Drew Dowdell @ccap41 Now not a Fact, but according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autobahn you have 3 speeds, far right is max of 130kph, middle lane is up to 150 kph and far left lane is for auto's 170kph and above. I am thinking the 180 kph is to allow all driving on the autobahn but keep a lid on the top end speed to keep the auto safe? ?♂️ I do question the speed limits as auto's have gotten so safe and according to wiki again the crash and death rates on the autobahn are some of the lowest anywhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limits_in_Germany

Thanks CCAP41, I looked around. Interesting concept. For the Amazon type buyers, this should work. For me, I like to see it before even putting a dollar down. Very different way of buying, that is for sure.

Cute little bugger, the 31 mile range should be good for most inner city folks that just need to run errands. Cool, glad it is here. I hope it does well for jeep!

Polestar 2 Unveiled Ahead of Geneva: Comments
Tesla has plenty of problems and I do not get how you can say they look better than the Polestar 2. Tesla is butt ugly compared to this. The Chinese made a better looking EV than an American created company. This is the competition that we have and we need to stop being lazy. People want normal looking auto's, not jelly bean bland cars and CUVs like Tesla makes. Tesla has some of the best battery packs, circuit boards and ideas, but their styling leave much to be desired. This will be proven out as more and more EV's hit the market and people leave Tesla in droves to go with other brands.
