Volvo News: Volvo Setting 112 MPH Speed Limit on All Cars in 2020
Just give me the real important number TORQUE! Let me move to highway speed quickly, many of GMs auto's do that, but plenty of others are pathetic trying to get up to highway speed.

Tesla Model Y SUV Unveiling on March 14th
Yes true it is, but as an electric auto, One would think they could make the interior space roomy and comfy even for big people like me. Yes most are not 6'6" tall 290lbs, but still I can fit in a Bolt, so if Tesla is doing their job right, I should fit in a Tesla X which is very hard for me to do. That is sad Panda for me.

Nothing like a 1971 Buick Estate Wagon, all 227 inches of her with a 455 V8 good for 355HP at 10 mpg. This station wagon as I learned is 3 inches longer than today's Chevrolet Suburban.

Tesla Model Y SUV Unveiling on March 14th
Will be cramped, sadly having sat in the S, X and 3, I see no reason they will improve the interior room beyond the current crackjack box. Sad, as it is exciting that more and more EV options come out but they really need to learn how to build an EV with room inside. Bolt is roomier inside than any Tesla.

phones
I usually change out my phones every 4 to 6 years. I have been a lifelong user of Samsung Note# phones. They rock and last. Great picture quality and seem to me to be very stable and long battery life. Not an Apple fan at all, if you like decisions made for you and limited to what one can do, then Apple is fine for those that do not care about technology and want a single ecosystem to get around on. I agree with those that said once you go smartphone you will not go back and if you try you will quickly learn the pain and regret it. I moved my parents last year to smartphones. Spent time teaching them how to use it. One of the phones was defective so my mom thought she would just go back to a flip phone. Within the day quickly realized how much added work and what a pain the flip phone was in comparison to the Smartphone. My mom is back on a smartphone and loves it and has pushed into taking photos like crazy. Amazing how technology can change how people interact. Agree, storage can never be enough with all we do on our phones now.

March Car Spotting
Over the weekend, went skiing and on my way home exiting the freeway, this beauty popped up, could not get my phone out fast enough to get a full pic as I honestly did not know what brand, but it was a pretty car.

Tesla Announces $35,000 Model 3 Now Available; Closing Most Retail Locations
I totally agree as Ford sales person is like the worst to deal with out there. So pushy, arrogant and uninformed about their products details. I have no problem when bad dealerships go away. But for me, I have certain needs as you know and being able to actually sit in one and test it out will always have me going to a dealership over on-line buying.

Polestar 2 Unveiled Ahead of Geneva: Comments
Very true, weird color names, but at least the auto is better looking than the Tesla 3. I could actually be happy to be seen in this car if I fit. That is the rub, while many young people might be happy to order on-line with no physical checking out of the auto, I cannot and will not ever do that as I have to check for my leg room and head room. This is why I am concerned that Tesla is shooting themselves in the foot. One Size fits all the shopping model will never make. Give me a Dealership.

Tesla Announces $35,000 Model 3 Now Available; Closing Most Retail Locations
Nothing official of when they will unveil the mid engine corvette, but Mark has confirmed the product is real, just not when. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2018/08/mark-reuss-publicly-acknowledges-mid-engine-c8-corvette/ I HONESTLY think this closing of stores and reduction of having people to work with will HURT not Help Tesla. While I am not a fan of their style, I personally think they are all very ugly and the Polestar 2 is far better looking than the Tesla 3, being one that HAS to check for leg and head room, I will NEVER be an online order person. GIVE ME my dealership where I can stop, look, ask questions, go home and sleep on it and then come back to finalize what I want.

DRIVEN: 2019 Chevrolet Blazer LT AWD 3.6
Agree, I would take the GC with the V8 over a TTV6 in a Traverse. I also do not need the 3rd seat, but if I was to stick with GM, the TTV6 would make the RS a true performance CUV.
