  1. I think Convertibles are such a small % of the market that there is no justification to bother building one for Cadillac. Yes, many think they are cool, but who actually buys them is a much smaller percentage. Better to focus on other models that can add to the profit line than convertibles. Right now just getting a full product line would be a start.
  2. Yes going to be interesting to see how they give it the interior space of an S class when it is looking like a size or more below the over all body. Yes EV power trains allow better interior space layout, but still, Kinda crazy.
  3. All your future auto's will be made only plug in Hybrid just to make sure you super pucker!
  4. Agree, I suspect you will find manual enthusiast looking to pick up a deeply discounted model come the end of this year. I would not be surprised to see 10K plus off to move these auto's as there are so few people who drive a manual now.
  5. Sizable amount of Inventory? Checked the 5 washington state dealers. Bellevue has 1 Everyone else has none. Such choices.
  6. Yet that picture is very deceptive as the mules running around California are much lower when compared to other auto's.
  7. Stopping at a yummy cafe to eat, got out of the auto and saw across the street this Maverick Grabber. Very clean with the Washington state collectors plate on it. Walked across and checked out this little Grabber with the 302.
  8. No if's, and's or Butt's about it, the Corvette. So many wins why compared to the other two.
  9. Went hiking at Mt. St. Helens, saw the cherry Camaro RS with T tops. Also saw this Tesla 3 parked by my Escalade when I got back. Great they are selling, but wow just looks blah and the fit n finish leaves much to be desired.
  10. I personally like the looks of this over Tesla. Tesla is such a dated look and honestly, I think is going to be hurting to update their auto's due to Musk's poor focus on building a profitable company rather than pie in the sky projects all over. He is stretched to thin with the semi, pickup truck, Tesla 3 CUV and especially the Roadster 2.0. He should have focused on one to make it a profitable hit. I really hope PIF moves forward with investing in Lucid and we get this auto sooner rather than later. Yet as every delay, it becomes more common that the company will fade away and die once the traditional OEMs get their EV plans into production and selling.
  11. Cool new patents filed by GM for aerodynamic aids. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1118245_gm-files-patents-for-new-active-aerodynamic-aids Clearly the US is falling behind in technology and leading the world. In case all you roaling coal lovers think Coal is the future, nope, Natural Gas is especially for electrical production along with wind, solar, hydro, ya know those green energy sources.
  12. Seems an update to make it more slippery has been done and the posted the video.
  13. https://twitter.com/ZoePionierin/status/1028974034690695170 Seems an alert german caught the Porsche out in the wild and recorded it, so you can hear how quiet it really is. Pretty cool. Pictures here too: https://twitter.com/ZoePionierin/status/1028973963056242688

  15. That segment is so small it is a waste of time and resources to go after. Most people DO NOT want a coupe on steroids as a CUV. Waste of effort and time for all auto companies. The Germans can continue to beat themselves up over it for the what 100-200 sold a month.
  16. From time to time, various manufactures will give SPIFFs on selling their hardware. I know I have seen retail folks use crazy lies to get you to buy a product they get a $25 spiff on. Yet a quick sale can come back to haunt a person if they are not careful.
  17. Technology is cool, but we are not there yet and I think it will take a generation, aka 10 years to get there.
  18. This will so make the auto's last longer and be much more comfy come this winter for you. Awesome move! @Drew Dowdell Seems really weird but since the image posting bug, the emoticons now seem to have a bug that if you use a keyboard shortcut it gives the weird image icon and the shortcut for it but does not really post the emoticon. Yet this time it worked for me. Weird even the menu now has some weirdness to it. Weird, the image showed fine of my screen capture but submitting it shows the same problem we had before with images. Must be an expansion of the bug in the software.
  19. @Cory Wolfe Great to hear from you, sorry to hear about your job. Stay positive always good things happen. Have you thought about going into content writing for the High tech industry or the auto industry in regards to the various positions the Auto companies have for content writing or as I stated High Tech? I know of plenty of positions where we could use solid folks creating solid quality manuals, white papers, blogs for technology. Wishing you all the best on your next adventure.
  20. We survived the 70's and 80's putting the kids there with no problem before the Gov had to protect us from ourselves!
  21. BMW has some ugly CUVs. The coupe thing is just VSS-S is GM's new platform, what does the initials stand for?
  22. Agree with @Cubical-aka-Moltar Green house has not really changed and other than the license plate, it just looks like a scalled down size between the 3 CT versions. Truly hope they are clearly different looking.
