  1. Once they satisfy the over paying baby boomers who want to live the experience, the rest of us will say PASS. The boat will then end up as a gambling boat in China or gutted and redone to modern day style as those cramped conditions in the lower tier cabins no one wants. Even today's modern boats are cramped. I just do not see what the big deal is about the boat or the movie which I honestly never saw. My daughter and wife went to see it multiple times and my daughter owns the sound track. She is banned from playing it at home any time I am home. I am so sick of the music and the whole jack crap story.
  2. GM has a clue, just too slow to respond to the SUV craze and get Holden a product line that would make the customers happy. Modern day Trailblazer SS AWD I am sure would sell big time to them. Modern Day GMC Typhoon would also sell there I bet.
  3. Will Find my 1976 Chevrolet Luv Pickup Truck and get it scanned in. Still wish I had that truck, it was awesome. Isuzu made a good truck that would last if you took care of it.
  4. You want easy on the eyes and drop dead sexy check out my Friend Hyo, she is freak'in sexy. Her boyfriend is a lucky man. https://www.instagram.com/hyo_1013/
  5. Agree with @balthazar a nicer mess than what it is replacing but still weird. What is up with the rise on the front wheel wells that would imply blind spots as it looks like the top of the wheel well is higher than the normal hood line. Really weird styling. Hope their safety features watch those corners.
  6. GM Delivers 835,934 Vehicles in China in Third Quarter Cadillac Cadillac sales grew 4 percent from a year earlier to 46,020 units, achieving a new third quarter record. The XT5 luxury SUV remained the brand’s best-seller, with deliveries of 14,986 units. Sales of the XTS luxury sedan jumped 29 percent to 13,784 units. The CT6 prestige sedan had 28 percent growth in sales to 3,843 units. The XT4 compact luxury SUV was launched in August, becoming the brand’s first entry in one of the market’s fastest-growing segments. Chevrolet Chevrolet continued its product changeover, delivering 118,240 units. Chevrolet’s best-selling nameplate, the Cavalier, had a sales increase of 6.3 percent to 48,482 units. The Equinox global SUV achieved sales growth of 29 percent to 18,561 units. In September, the Orlando seven-seater was launched to meet the needs of consumers with varied lifestyles. Buick Buick sales totaled 251,581 units. The brand is undergoing a technology changeover, shifting to the use of cutting-edge small displacement engines that offer further improved performance and efficiency. Buick’s best-seller, the Excelle GT sedan, sold 61,512 units. The Buick Regal sedan had deliveries of 26,994 units, up 73 percent from a year earlier. Baojun Baojun deliveries totaled 188,751 units. The Baojun 510 SUV, with 70,415 units sold, remained the brand’s best-seller. The Baojun 360, a new six-seat MPV for commuting and family use launched in May, had deliveries of 29,042 units. Baojun’s second electric vehicle, the E200, went on sale in September; it includes more than 200 upgrades from its popular sibling, the E100 electric vehicle. Wuling Wuling sold 231,342 units, sustaining its leadership in mini-commercial vehicles. The Hong Guang MPV family, Wuling’s best-selling series and China’s top-performing MPV nameplate, had deliveries of 92,983 units. https://media.gm.com/media/cn/en/gm/home.detail.html/content/Pages/news/cn/en/2018/Oct/1008_sales.html Looking at the GM Media center for sales info and what is going on with GM. I get the feeling GM is in glory days of sales and partnering with child safety groups and other groups around China as they drive brand awareness. China is clearly outselling the US for GM auto's.
  7. OUCH, does not sound happy in the land of the shrimp on the barbie.
  8. Seems Porsche got caught with their pants down as a photographer caught the EV Station wagon version or shooting brake out and about. https://www.autoblog.com/2018/10/18/porsche-taycan-sport-turismo-ev-wagon-spy-photos/#slide-7449655 Porsche has not talked about this yet but clearly is on their way to making a second EV.
  9. Bummer, gonna repair it yourself or have it done?
  10. My Grandpa, dads dad who I was very close to, got me interested in photography died 3 years ago today and all I can think about is his last cadillac that I just loved. 1996 Fleetwood Brougham in that lovely Maroon color. His was identical to this and he kept it immaculate. Sadly my dad older sister got it and she trashed it, then traded it in on a Lexus. What a waste. RIP Grandpa Eddie, you are missed and never forgotten!
  11. What broke NOW on the Honda? All the best in your Roadtrip in the Toro, that is an awesome auto!
  12. Have to say that Cadillac has gotten better lately with a youthful focus on people and product. I am liking what I see.
  13. Weird, but interesting how a tire can behave on different auto's.
  14. Had no Idea that in 2008 NBC did a reboot of Knight Rider with Karr being a Mustang Cobra. Only 17 episodes were done before NBC pulled it due to low viewership. Anyone watch it? Have to check it out if it is on one of the streaming channels.
  15. It is as it will give the blind as well as others that cannot drive mobility that allows people to more easily get around. The Freedom Machine, AKA Auto with self driving will allow anyone to get around without having to rely on others. There is a valid use case for this on top of all those that really do not want to drive. More than I think most realize.
  16. @ocnblu Thank you for posting, this is great to see. WTF is the name on the door so high up. Not liking that at all. Major rear blind spots, but then what CUV does not have them. Getting mixed on this. ?
  17. wow, like their version, she is pretty and like you said a great voice.
  18. Is your snow lite and fluffy or wet and heavy? We have wet and heavy snow here in the PNW and I have not had any problem at all in lite snowfall or thick, it just goes through it with traction.
  19. I put on both my SS and Escalade the LTX tires and they handle the dry, wet and snow really well. Course both are also awd. Michellin LTX have been awesome dry, wet and snow starting and stopping.
  20. Totally agree that there is much vagueness to this. There should be clear DUI, here in Washington they do have a test machine that is a drug swab test. All state, county and city police are trained on the physical signs to look for and then the test to see how much they have in their system. Nothing is perfect, but they do have the DUI broke down by the two types. Also, this does not seem to take into account the growth of the states that have legalized it. Due to High Tech Jobs, Washington state has really grown in the last couple years. 6% increase in accidents could just be normal for the millions that have moved here. I know that Washington, California , Colorado and I have heard Oregon is also going to the Drug Swab test that is accurate and holds up in court. There is a BIG point missing here. The Millions saved on jail space, court time, etc. from removing POT and the arrest, process, etc. that goes with it being criminalized. EDIT: https://lcb.wa.gov/mj2015/faqs_i-502 This is the Washington state FAQ on POT. Our law states the following for DUI: The initiative sets a per se DUI limit of "delta-9" THC levels at greater than or equal to 5 nanograms per milliliter of blood (5 ng/mL). State and local law enforcement agencies are tasked with enforcing the DUI limit.
  21. I thought you measured it based on how many brownies they eat?
  22. Yet let's admit that auto's period are all overpriced. If our salary went in sync with auto prices, we all would be making $500,000 a year.
