Seems the T-Roc from VW has entered production finally. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/12/04/volkswagen-t-roc-cabriolet-production/ BMW seems to not get many to pay for Apple auto play on a recurring bases, as such all 2019 and 2020 models moving forward will now have it as normal free feature. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/12/04/bmw-free-apple-carplay/

Chrysler News: Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot Agree to Merge
Seems that Carlos Tavares who has turned around PSA from money loosing to money making might be the right guy to turn around Alfa to be a money maker than a money sucker. Per the following story, it seems Alfa sales have fallen 42% in Europe, 27% down in US and FCA head Mike Manley who succeeded Marchionne realized that Marchionne's 3rd and final attempt to grow and revitalize Alfa was not going to happen. At this point, Alfa will have 2 EVs by 2022 as 2023 models to bring Alfa to 4 models not the 7 that Marchionne had stated. Even then, it might not be enough to save Alfa. https://www.autonews.com/blogs/alfa-romeo-could-be-tavares-toughest-turnaround Tavares is a true Car Guy who races on weekends and has stated that some plateforms might be too expensive to continue, as such he is not afraid to make the hard decisions once reviews of all product lines are done. At this time, no product line will be discontinued at this time during the merge. Full reviews of all product lines will be done, assessed on value and profits before any changes will happen. Travares has said that Alfa has failed to challange the luxury brands of Germany and will have to be assessed on where it really belongs.

Chrysler News: FCA and UAW Reach Tentative Agreement
Seems GM is cutting 800 jobs to retool for the pickup and van EVs at the detroit plant. https://www.autonews.com/manufacturing/gm-cutting-800-jobs-retool-detroit-plant-evs Per the story, QUOTE: As part of a $3 billion investment, GM plans to start building an electric pickup and van at Detroit-Hamtramck. They would be followed by electric versions of the GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalade, according to LMC Automotive, a closely watched provider of industry sales and production forecasts. Automotive News reported last month that a lengthy layoff starting in early 2020 would be needed to make the conversion from gasoline-powered sedans to battery-electric trucks. The plant will stop making the Cadillac CT6 in January and the Chevrolet Impala in February. GM gave formal notice of the layoffs in a state-mandated filing Tuesday. Layoffs will begin Feb. 28 for most of the 800 hourly, 50 subsystem and 60 salaried workers affected. Fewer than 40 hourly workers will stay at the plant until March or April.

Unsold 1987 Buick GNX becomes dealer time capsule.
Wish I could find a solid 86-87 Monte Carlo Areo. Those were lovely cars, but usually trashed beyond salvage.

Genesis News: Genesis GV80 Leaks Out
I really like the looks both exterior and interior. Should do well for competition. One does have to wonder how the guy checking out the inside of the GV80 does not see the guy behind the auto taking pictures. I do have to wonder how they do not keep control on phones in the work place especially with a new product launch.

Buick News: Regal Discontinued After 2020
Might as well make it a 1.3 Triple Turbo motor, that way each cylinder does not feel neglected. Triple the turbo lag.

I bet you could still get a decent buzz on those lips now! Imagine putting in a modern power train package from GM Performance crate systems. That would makes these cars fly!

Solid sales year and yet their CUV sales are up and car sales are down but only a little. Not surprised since not much choices from the American auto companies.

November 2019: Genesis Motor America
Nice solid sales gain. The wife saw one of the sedans, not sure which model but she thought it was an aston martin due to the wings of the logo. She liked the looks.
