  1. WOW, never knew, this is very interesting. Makes sense the amount of power we sell to California after seeing this map.
  2. Glad to see that VW sales in SUV category is going up while cars sales are tanking. At least something is working for them after Dieselgate.
  3. Nice Hybrid Sales being up big time, but even a company like Toyota that is down tells me we are going into a recession.
  4. I am honestly surprised that they are down that much for the month, but still on a positive growth for the year. For some reason thought they would have done better.
  5. WOW Nissan, that is a whole lotta blood letting, ?
  6. At least their sales are positive for the year and month, cannot be said about other auto companies.
  7. WOW, that is Ugly at MB, clearly their sales are not taking off even with new models. Really surprised that they have not killed off some models by now even though they say they are going too.
  8. WOW, I thought Mazda was doing good, but looking at that chart, it is a blood bath of Negatives.
  9. OUCH, Guess folks are not happy with Infiniti as being down 35.4% for car sales and 46.9% for CUV/SUV sales is not a small thing.
  10. Interesting so year to date sales are up 2.7 %, but this month, they are down big time 9% if my math is correct.
  11. OUCH, down 14.1% for the Month and down 6.7% for the year. Interesting that Cars sales were up while CUV / truck sales are down as are EVs down 29.7%.
  12. Car sales Down 14.9% 14,458 units moved of which 535 were EVs. Truck sales Up 41.8$ 13,009 units moved Mini up 1.3% Total of 30,972 for a 5.5% gain. Clearly still a car company over CUVs.
  13. I always get this one confused with the Honda CUVs especially since the name is C-HR. ?
  14. Right! I am so happy GM has signed on to have Google be their new system next year.
  15. @balthazar I would also add elcamino guy, but forgot what name he changed too. Seems Maserati will do this EV car and then an EV Ute according to "The Driven" web site. Soooooo, maybe they are going back to some of their roots with this Ute? ? https://thedriven.io/2019/10/01/maserati-races-to-catch-up-on-electric-mobility-with-a-hybrid-ute/
  16. Thanks Drew, went out to the web site, https://www.pse.com/ but while they have an outage map, does not seem to have a grid map that says this is the areas PSE covers.
  17. Should Cadillac have built this version of an early Escalade rather than give us the Cimmeron? https://www.facebook.com/Abimelecdesign/posts/1872878909525052
  18. Even with a stop sale, reviews are still very positive about the Gladiator and even the Bison ZR2 which came in 2nd place in this review. In fact last place went to Toyota TRD Pro. https://www.motor1.com/reviews/372871/offroad-truck-comparison-ford-chevy-jeep-toyota/
  19. Very cool Subaru Camper conversion. Smart Woman
  20. Much appreciated Drew, I knew you would put it into layman terms that would make sense to me. Since the PNW does not have alternative power suppliers, all our power which is Hydro, Wind, Solar or Ocean derived is in the same bucket sold by the only power company around PSE.
  21. Everyone, Would you pay $40,000 plus to have your old tired Miata restored to factory freshness or even better? Seems Mazda has a service that will do just that, read about it here: https://www.thedrive.com/news/29942/mazda-will-restore-your-na-miata-roadster-to-factory-perfection-for-40k Have to say, that for me, it would not be worth it but it is very cool!
  22. Very cool Conversion, a 1992 E30 BMW cabriolet had been converted to a LS V8 and was one fast road racer, it has since undergone another transformation with having a Tesla P85 power train and Chevrolet Battery packs installed into the E30 BMW and is now allowing you to never miss a yellow light again. Watch the video in the link below. https://www.thedrive.com/news/29886/a-tesla-swapped-e30-bmw-means-youll-never-miss-a-yellow-light-again
  23. This one is an interesting story, Honda is planning to buy more renewable energy than any other auto company in the US as it pushes to reduce it's CO2 footprint. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1125226_honda-plans-to-buy-more-renewable-energy-than-any-other-automaker @Drew Dowdell Drew help me out here as I would like to better understand this. Is Honda just buying and reselling renewable energy with the end result is they get a green house gas exemption due to where their factories are located? It seems to me that Honda is paying for wind and solar power in exchange for a credit against the power they consume that is not renewable and as such the people around these renewable power plants are who really benefits? These deals always seem a bit confusing. Thank you
  24. According to this story, JFK airport has installed 38 charge points and is moving to change out the ground equipment used in support of airplane flights. The goal is to save 200,000 gallons of fuel and over 4 million pounds of Green house gas a year. https://chargedevs.com/newswire/jfk-airport-terminal-5-installs-38-charging-hubs-will-electrify-ground-equipment/ Exxonmobil has come out with a complete product line of EV fluids designed to allow EVs to travel farther on a single charge and reduce wear by extending component life. https://chargedevs.com/newswire/exxonmobil-launches-new-suite-of-fluids-and-greases-for-electric-vehicles/
  25. Rivian showed off along with their R1T silver truck a new Blue R1t with a darker interior. One of the reservation holders in Seattle video taped the event and the truck and posted to You Tube. I have to say I really like what I see, just need to get damn access to test fitting myself in the auto before I plunk down a deposit. Have to say I really have more respect from a business stand point for RJ over Musk. More info was also posted here in the story at Electek web site. https://electrek.co/2019/09/30/rivian-blue-r1t-electric-pickup-truck-prototype/
