  1. Lots of rubber on those tires for spring and summer.
  2. Looks like those Buick teeth are scrapping the ground.
  3. Ferrari is better than it was, but when you have to give a 7yr bumper to bumper warranty, I would question the reliability and it looks like edmonds, KBB and others also question the long term reliability of the auto's and maintenance costs. Not an auto for those with tight pocket books for sure to buy used.
  4. I understand what you say, but the days are numbers on V8 and anything bigger, There are companies that now can take a Dodge Challanger or Charger V6 and with Twin Turbo make it 506hp at the wheels. Turbo's are rated to 450 hp each so combined you could easily make a 900HP TTV6. https://prodigyperformance.com/products/dodge-challenger-twin-turbo-kit/ The days of a Hellcat will stay alive with this type of Technology. Just do not expect to have V8 Hellcat power with V6 MPG. ? In regards to the French style of Auto's, I agree they suck, but I am not talking about taking the car as is, put a dodge or chrysler badge on it, but use the platform with American style for new auto's.
  5. I would not be surprised with the merger if this brand name dies again in the next 10 years. It should have never been brought back. Just left in the history books. Current product is so unreliable. Italians need to stick to boats and cloths, auto's is not their strength.
  6. Yes Tech is more important than those things for allot of people who only see an Auto as an appliance for getting from point A to B and Back. Sadly, we on C&G are a dying breed of auto enthusiasts.
  7. Here is the Oct 29th release of the best selling models in Europe. https://www.best-selling-cars.com/europe/2019-q1-q3-europe-best-selling-car-manufacturers-and-brands/ Compared to FCA European sales numbers I am honestly surprised that Fiat sells that many sub compact auto's but I guess they are cheap in Europe where it is more acceptable than here in the US where no one wants them.
  8. I disagree with the thinking that it would be a disaster. Take the quarter million unit selling Pugoet 208 and you have an AWD standard, Sport and RT model and then evetually you add in the Hellcat. Nothing say's FCA/PSA could not do a Hellcat TTV6 version with the RT being a hipo TT4 banger. Do not know until they try and using a global platform which all auto companies are doing, I see no reason to not use one of the P&O lines to invigorate D&C with product.
  9. Yet Pugeot out sells Chrysler and Dodge. http://carsalesbase.com/european-car-sales-data/peugeot/ 2019, they have sold to date = 664,964 auto's. I have to think a rebadge of their auto's could sell here. P&O auto's are doing much better than Fiat and Alfa. https://www.best-selling-cars.com/europe/2019-september-europe-car-sales-and-market-analysis/ hundreds of thousands better.
  10. Thank you for your input on this, I was actually not thinking that the LX platform auto's would survive, just the Dealership names of Dodge and Chrysler with rebadge of PSA auto's having those badges on them. I disagree, there is no evidence that a D or C badge on a Pugeot or Opel would not sell here. I would expect those divisions to add a bit of American flair anyways to a P or O platform auto being sold under those names.
  11. Dealerships will Sue, this will end up in the courts if they try to kill off the Dodge and Chrysler dealerships here. I would expect re-badges to go in. The only way D&C get killed off is if they are given P&O dealerships to replace them. I think marketing would hold a P&O dealership back compared to re-badge P&O product as D&C product.
  12. Yes, Yes we do as Rain is a solid wet drop, versus Seattle has more Drizzle than rain unless you live around the Hoh Rain Forest on the coast, there you get heavy rain.
  13. Ya guys can keep the rolling hills and the Hell on earth heat, I will stay put in the PNW with the drizzle, cool temps and 4 distinct seasons. ?
  14. Is that dash all soft touch or is the section over the gauges and the bulk of the dash hard plastic like it looks with just a soft touch few inch curved section? How is the rest of the interior on this black hole interior?
  15. Be interesting to see their platform if they go the Tesla route or the Rivian route.
  16. Kill off Fiat and Alfa should have never been allowed to happen and they would be been profitable. Alfa was a stupid decision to bring it back from the grave as was bringing Fiat here to the US.
  17. Wow, had not seen this pic before, but clearly this trailer is not the same as the one above. I agree that there are two different trailers being shown. Also in comparing the pictures the wind shield on the side goes back to the front of the first set of tires where this one is clearly much shorter. Must be playing with the differences in what makes it slip through the air the best.
  18. Truck Repair job security? ?
  19. ? Seriously? All cab over semi's turn the same, those front wheels and the trailer turns within the wind block walls so from the side you do not see the usual big gap. Very efficient flow of air over this sexy classy truck. I honestly am Surprised Kenworth / Peterbuilt, a Paccar division has not come out with such a sexy truck yet. Clearly Europe lead truck maker MB has not done it. ?
  20. WOW, So who's job is it to monitor and make sure these pipes are getting replaced on time? Clearly someone failed in the GOV to maintain the infrastructure. ?
  21. Yes, they have it as an option, but I question how many sales, European union has stated sales are in clear decline.
  22. Could be triple or quadruple flushes, just depends on how many logs you lay. Flush each one to keep it clean and fresh.
  23. This would be a good fit to consolidate these two companies into one.
  24. That is one hell of a sexy Class 8 Semi truck!
  25. GM lost on this battle and the UAW will hit Ford and FCA equally hard and we will be left with higher auto prices.
