Cadillac News: 2020 Cadillac CT6 Makes Big Price Moves
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Cadillac
WOW, a Split level like mine with 2 car Garage. Shocked, not shocked by the crazy prices of California. Paid $140,000 in May 1999 for my Foreclosed home and spent $25K to clean it up once I tore the inside down to the studs and put in new windows, roof and doors. https://www.zillow.com/homes/6305-223rd-Pl-SW-Mountlake-Terrace,-WA,-98043_rb/38486952_zpid/ -
To me my friend this is an easy answer, Maximum Torque to move the PHAT Ass that auto's have gotten on this safety everything kick that makes the auto Obese followed with enough horsepower to ensure you can keep moving with the flow of traffic without a struggle. Seamless smooth movement without the struggle that so many small auto's with under powered ICE have.

Cadillac News: 2020 Cadillac CT6 Makes Big Price Moves
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Cadillac
I only buy Forclosed homes, as I gut them, make them to what I want and live in it pocketing the value by doing most work myself. I have only ever lived in 1 new home due to a promotion and move to Texas, cheaper to buy new than rent short term. Auto's, I can go either way, CPO if the car is in amazing shape, clean still has that new car smell and very low miles. Since I hold onto my auto's, AKA still have my first major auto purchase, from 1993, a 1994 GMC SLE Suburban, I also like new as the original owner. Course I have also bought CPO such as my 2008 Trailblazer SS. Out of production when I was shopping for an AWD fun SUV for the wife and as a 3yr old CPO with only 24K miles on it and still smelling new, it was a steal during the gas price craziness in 2010. Most people wanted small fuel efficient and I could care less about price of gas. Got a steal of a deal. -
Great Kid! Kids seem to naturally pick up on a persons reputation.

Thank you for posting that, very cool technology. I wonder if the hydrogen station was once based on this new tech you posted above or older energy use heavy tech.

Seems GM is considering bringing back the Hummer name as a possible EV. I really hope it is a option package for GMC, no need for another name plate in the GM stable. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/06/17/electric-hummer-gm/ https://www.autonews.com/future-product/gm-ponders-electric-hummer

Hydrogen fueling station in Norway biggest market for Hydrogen car sales has been put on hold as a station exploded and they have closed down all other stations till they understand what caused the explosion. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/06/12/norway-hydrogen-station-explodes-toyota-hyundai-halt-sales/ Somehow I think I take my electric over Hydrogen since it takes more energy to produce hydrogen than electricity.

BMW News: BMW's M Division Might Get Bespoke Model
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in BMW
BMW could Hand AMG their Ass if they focused on using Carbon Fiber for ultra light Driving Machines of unique design / style that use EV powertrains to maximize the driving experience with full Torque from Zero. This could work as a business model for something very special out of BMW.- 32 replies

Interesting Story, Sales of the XTS have done very well and surpassed last years sales and are the only one of the 6 models being killed this 2019 year that has sales up when the other 5 are down. XTS Ends Production of 2019 models at the end of Q4 2019 or Dec 31st 2019. https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/these-6-gm-vehicles-are-ending-production

Nope just you and another. I see your brain has gone south even more while on vacation, not even able to post anything related to tariffs, just down votes. Got it, I hear your Budweiser calling you. ? -
Industry News: Trump's Tariff Threat Turned Out To Be A Farce
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Industry News
https://www.politico.com/tag/tariffs Companies are pleading with Trump to stop the Tariff War as the hits set in with higher prices and much more goods sitting on shelves and warehouses. Interesting to read how across the pond they see our Tariff war with the world! https://www.independent.co.uk/topic/trade-tariffs?CMP=ILC-refresh Interesting the story on the FART ACT by Trump to allow him to Abandon the WTO pack. Had a Container ship come in over the weekend and they loaded up stuff, but nothing really was dropped off. This morning, it is amazing how empty the port is now and the trucks lined up to pick up containers is few compared to the backup they usually have. Clearly freight shipments are way down. 20190617_124424.mp4 -
Industry News: Trump's Tariff Threat Turned Out To Be A Farce
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Industry News
This was published a year ago, but so on point as it explains the REAL REASONS Tariffs Threaten Our Economy and what it will do to our $20.85 Trillion in Debt we need to be paying down on. https://banyanhill.com/announcement-on-tariffs/ Worth the read for those that want to be informed. Anouncement on Tariffs The Elephant in the Room Relationship of Opposites Repercussions of Tariffs Trump's Greatest Asset - Our Economy Outstanding read and clearly a year later you can see where the administration has clearly FAILED America while the Trump Faithful will only see Positive! -
People thought a small block V8 would not fit in a Chevrolet Luv Truck and yet plenty of people swapped out the 4 banger for a V8.

The point being in the links I posted, the Military has clearly stated they have more than enough tanks and no need to update the earlier Abram tanks in the High desert for the nearly half a billion dollars compared to using that money on other things they need like body armor for the soldiers, lite attack vehicles, etc. This is not scrapping the whole Abrams fleet, just the older ones, aka 2000 first and second generations that would be reworked with new engines, electronics, etc. to get them up to the current version they are building and buying. Recycle the older ones, spend the money on the newer tools that are used in todays Gorilla warfare.
