  1. I honestly think it is so you know without look which is D and which is R as you can fit your fingers I bet into those HDMI looking spots. I can totally understand this as I think a persons Height has something to do with how one would feel about the dashes. Being so tall, a tall dash never bothers me, but my Wife is 5'8" tall and you bring up a valid point. I wonder if she would find it too tall to look over. ? Love that GM is getting Unique dashes to various trim levels.
  2. Agree that it is a great program, sadly 10,000 miles is not enough for me either. I went and built a Premier with 15,000 miles and the cost jumped to $366 a month.
  3. I have to say that I love the AT4 external looks and could be happy with the interior, but would rather have the Denali Dash with my AT4. Top AT4 Dash, bottom pic is the Denali dash. I wonder if the AT4 will get the Diesel option for those that want it over the 6.2L V8? ?
  4. Future meets past in the Lightyear One, an EV with a 60kWh battery pack and solar panel roof that gets 450 miles of range for a 4 Door Sedan. https://ww.electrek.co/2020/01/14/lightyear-one-first-look/ This 450 Mile range EV is AWD with 4 independant in-wheel hub motors, a .2 drag coefficient, a Aluminum / Carbon fiber body and frame. Unlike the Solar panel on the Nissan Leaf that draws barely enough power to power a Casio Calculator per the story, the hood and long roof to the rear generates 1kW of power for use by the auto. Gotta love the rear wheel covers bringing back auto's of Yore. Has the latest approved side video cameras rather than traditional mirrors that cause drag. If you do not take into account the Solar panels, this company has gotten an impressive 7.5 miles per kWh, incredible efficiency. The biggest draw back is that people are hesitant to drop large money on an EV and this one can be yours for a base price of $165,000. Seems I can hear Crickets right now.
  5. Seems GM is wanting to drive BOLT Leases, so they have up to $10,000 off a fully loaded Bolt for a monthly Lease of $169 a month, $2,219 due at signing. The $10,000 breaks down as follows: $8,500 discount for all customers, $1,500 loyalty bonus or $1,500 conquest bonus. According to the story, seems some dealerships in Oregon, California and Florida have put additional money on the hood withBolt Premiers having a final Lease price below $30,000 for a $45,000 fully loaded EV. Seems reports are up that people are finding the Bolt LT below $24,000. https://ww.electrek.co/2020/01/14/chevy-is-offering-10000-lease-discounts-on-bolt-ev/ Great deals if your wanting a decent daily driver for work / errands at a low price.
  6. Nissan showed off their Global EV platform at CES this past week. Great thing about this is it is a complete all new platform, first in the last 10 years for Nissan and will be shared with Renault and Mitsubishi. Base Platform is a 300 mile electric crossover. There will be three types off this, EV, Motor driven Hybrid and Engine & Motor driven Hybrid. Interesting details to read, check it out here: https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1126757_nissan-evs-will-share-platform-with-infiniti-renault-mitsubishi
  7. I look at everything, wife has tested so many and yet she has always come back to GM, loves her full size SUV, aka Suburban and Escalade we have and her SS. The tight Turning radius and performance of the SS goes up against the others and so far nothing has beat it. She really liked the looks externally of the MDX, but the interior she hated, turning radius was a pig. At this point, she is going to wait for an EV. She does like the looks of the Lincolns, but has decided her SS will be her last ICE auto.
  8. Equinox is great but much bigger turning radius than the Trax. I honestly am shocked at the turning radius of the CUVs from GM as my SS has a much tighter turning radius than many compact CUVs and it is Mid Size. GM needs to fix the poor turning radius of their products.
  9. Love the interior and exterior look, Great in Green. Excited to see it at the dealership and get a hands on inspection and drive.
  10. I will now officially say that the Yukon is the best looking of all the Fulls Size SUVs. I Love both the Interior dash of the Yukon and the Cadillac, but the exterior sucks.
  11. Some areas got almost 2 feet of snow last night with others just a dusting and we are in a freezer for temps. LOL Now all the auto's are brown messes.
  12. I really do hope that Buick uses the Electra on a new EV. Yes Balthy and Ocnblu will roast me about it, but it is a natural Marketing of EV with the Electra Name that should serve Buick well.
  13. Was very mixed about the look of this till I saw the additional pics above. I am liking this.
  14. Love this dash
  15. Calling for 3 to 8 inches of snow tonight on top of the 7 we already got, everything is white, where did all the autos go?
  16. https://instagram.com/stories/gmc/2221516640424898691?igshid=1x9ywjt8zhyh5 I honestly have mixed feeling for this new Yukon, better than the Chevrolet style.
  17. Still surprised that they want to kill off the Fusion for the amounts of cars they are moving there. I also think they could easily keep the Flex going still.
  18. Decent sales increase when others were shrinking.
  19. High MPG Hybrid CUV with off road capabilities would do Toyota well.
  20. Some might say this is a sexist picture, I say the woman just give ya a better attention to detail.
  21. This is a sharp looking mid size truck, way to go GMC!
  22. Hell, they better never take my full size Trucks/SUVs as I will never fit in anything. I will stop my rant now before I go off the deep end of my soap box about all the Shitty Little Subcompacts / compacts that companies think the world should pay luxury prices for that are not worth it. Totally agree, so tired of gutless auto's that cannot merge at highway speed or move when a semi or bus is coming and they force them to brake hard and cause congestion. Europe can keep their worthless powerless auto's.
  23. Doh, I had forgotten about that option, Thx!
  24. Excitment for GMC tomorrow, could this be the Hummer by GMC announcement or could it be the long awaited Raptor competitor? EXCITMENT!!! Greater Seattle area got a good dose of winter, 6 inches at my house, 9 inches at my sisters and the freeway and local roads are littered with abandoned BMW xDrive and Mercedes-Benz A and C class 4matics all over. Just proves awd is useless if one does not learn how to drive in the snow.
  25. BBQ
