  1. Ya know we are talking consumer trucks, NOT Class 8 Commercial Trucks that the public DOES NOT buy or Drive! So let's stop the goal post movement and stay with the program of Consumer retail trucks, again NOT COMMERCIAL TRUCK SALES! People HAVE NOT paid a premium for a Luxury pickup truck unless it is from FORD, GENERAL MOTORS or RAM! And NO we are not talking about the rare 6x6 G-Wagon Pickup truck that was one made of only.
  2. Yes it should be in the Mid size and full size trucks, it can also go into a AWD CUV if properly marketed to the proper target group. AWD Terrain or Equinox pulling an RV for a couple and highlighting the torque for getting up and over passes is the message that should have been sold on this. EXAMPLE: Does your current ride run out of steam pulling your RV up and over the pass? Get into a New GMC Terrain AWD Diesel, the Torque that never stops giving and sail over the pass with pulling torque power of GM's newest turbo charged Diesel motor with clean emissions. Get out in play in your new Terrain Diesel, living the life you want to live!
  3. According to the story I posted, one day Mercedes lost 75 auto's. Wonder how the profits are doing for that auto sharing?
  4. Seems Car 2 Go is losing cars fast to theft rings. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-07-11/mercedes-thieves-showed-just-how-vulnerable-car-sharing-can-be LOL
  5. Marketing FAILURE of GM! This is the biggest problem with GM is their lack of Marketing!
  6. It would not have changed anything. California was already against Diesel with their own emissions standards and the ability to clean up the auto's with California Emissions package would have still made it a niche power train. Europe is only now dealing with their acid rain and retention pond pollution problems from coal and diesel and as such are playing catchup to the US in trying to protect the planet and humans from toxic waste such as the Diesel produce. I would NEVER want the US to have to deal with some of the sludge death horrors Europe has dealt with recently, from 2010 to 2014 these are some of the smaller spills that have damaged Europe. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/39618685/ns/world_news-europe/t/sludge-spill-just-eastern-europes-toxic-horrors/#.XS987OhKjuo https://timesofmalta.com/articles/view/hungary-toxic-sludge-spill-reaches-danube.330264 https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/jan/08/devecser-hungary-eco-town Very happy Diesel did not get the blanket approval to poison the air and water of the US the way it has in Europe. Time to let Diesel die.
  7. ? What a mouthful, clearly the Japanese marketing team did not get the memo about minimal is better versus having an acronym of LCVECMIATwO. ?
  8. Kill the pathetic Alfa and Maserati and pour the profits back into Chrysler as a mid tier luxury brand to go against Buick and Acura.
  9. Nice package that will truly make the Subaru faithful happy. I expect to continue to see plenty of these on the passes this coming winter season. For me, the CVT is a DOA issue and one I am not willing to budge on for an ICE auto. Yes, I get that they probably have one of the more reliable CVTs out there, but still not a fan of how the auto's drive even with the software induced manual feel of shift.
  10. The ALLTrack I really like, but like Chevrolet, VW marketing is pathetic and I think they lost sales by not marketing it as a activity wagon. Course did it ever get here to the US as I have never seen one here.
  11. REALITY, Mercedes is not all things to everyone. People who want trucks want it from a real truck company, not a Luxury car company, attempting to be a Chevrolet of all things with a model for every nook and cranny. Double Reality is that MB is going to have to stop wasting money on pie in the sky have something for everyone and get back to what they made money on, a focused luxury / performance line. Toyota / Chevrolet buyers buy Toyota / Chevrolet or equal. The Badge snobs who bought the few A, B & C auto's are turning them back in off lease in record numbers and going elsewhere as only 36% are retained. This dumps allot of luxury level Auto's on the used car market and yet there are only so much a down market can absorb. Welcome to the 21st century.
  12. Wow, that is not much difference, so the extra few inches actually hits the bottom of the garage door when up, seem that is a short roof garage. Really appreciate you posting it.
  13. Hello, Earth calling Venus, the story clearly touched on the whole company so if a body on frame truck deal is dead and other auto's are going to be pared down, this does then bring up a valid question on what is the update for their Hybrid / EV product lines.
  14. They say a classic set with the original box can sell for thousands.
  15. Yup, that is what I thought too. She did not seem to be the drive type of person. Talk about a perfect showing of the 3 generations of flat panel TVs here at the gym. The thickness change is just crazy. 20190716_204328.mp4
  16. Ugliest Acura ever, surprised to see one as you see plenty of their Cuvs but rarely an Acura car, especiallly the TL.
  17. @balthazar roflmao, just gassed up the SS and a lady in a BMW with NJ plates pulled up, window down and was just sitting. She finally asked me when would the attendant come fuel her up. Told her washington state is a self serve state, have to pump gas herself. The look on her face was priceless. I helped her out and chatted with her for a few min, nice lady just transferred out here for a tech job, first time ever living out of NJ. She told me that she loves her state, but is surprised at the cost differences and everything seems to be self service. I told her she will need to experience one of the Amazon grocery stores where you use a smartphone app and no one checks you out. Just make your selections and walk out the door. She did not believe me till I pointed her at it on her phone. She has that NJ twang so it will be interesting to see how she handles the rubber liberal west coast. End result, nice lady, but the fueling thing made me laugh based on out conversation about fueling.
  18. Running to Business costco and this lovely Cadillac station wagon was in front of me. Very clean. then after that someone was renting a fiat and a big dragon fly landed on the roof antenna and hitched a ride for a few miles.
  19. Leaving work to catch my bus home and a brand new Navi is at our door. Nice!
  20. Love this auto's style, just put on in-wheel hub motors and a proper 150 kWh battery pack and you have one hell of a Frunk and it will be ready to go!
  21. This does make one wonder what their Hybrid and EV portfolio will become. They also have the over rated Hyper Fluff Vapor Car that still is not a saleable product. It might be time to just kill the Money Pit and admit they cannot make an F1 engine work on normal roads.
  22. Did a respectable 144K plus last year in North America.
  23. This is like Throwing darts to try and find a way to put the focus back on your Fanboi MB company. Just about everyone including carmax has their own version of owner loyalty. https://www.thestreet.com/story/12861722/1/10-car-brands-with-the-most-loyal-buyers.html https://www.cnbc.com/2014/07/02/car-buyers-are-most-loyal-to-these-brands.html https://www.autoblog.com/photos/car-brands-most-least-loyal-owners/ https://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2016/01/top-10-vehicles-with-the-most-loyal-buyers.html https://brobible.com/culture/article/edmunds-most-least-loyal-car-owners/ Everyone has their own take on Owner Loyalty. Yet on par is that MB only retains 36% of their customers. So they loose out to many others after a costly terrible ownership experience it would seem. Want to know where this comes from, check out the links I posted, seems many are of the same thought about MB auto's. Only 36% are willing to stay with MB auto's for repeated purchase it would seem.
  24. Can you please take a photo and show us, I am interested in what it looks like. Thank you Blu
