Yes EV's are very small compared to ICE auto's, but I think those that fear change are overblowing the battery thing in comparison to ICE. Even this report says it is very rare in comparison to ICE fuel fires. Actually your Wrong, this ID.4 is to compete against the Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring which starts @ $36,050 and Toyota Rav 4 Prime which starts @ $38,100. Even VW says so. I think this is very competitive to those other compacts. Interesting is when you compare the details of the ID.4 to the Honda and Toyota, they are very identical.
