  1. Jaguar says in their press release the 380 HP version will lie under the hood of a high-output variant of their new F-Type roadster when it next year. Grammer Police, we seem to be missing a word or proper wording on this sentence. This should be interesting to see as engine size goes smaller with horsepower growing and turbo and superchargers going into everything. I wonder if Premium fuel will be required on all these turbo/supersharged models.
  2. Interesting, I wonder what VW has up their sleeves to keep Porsche running. past this. Either some truly frugal lower level cars or some major changes in store to meet the fuel requirements.
  3. WOW, what a butt ugly car, some interesting ideas, but the over all package is ugly. I think this guy is in over his head. Another Auto Company that should be a page in history.
  4. Hammer
  5. New Buick Models for China and the world except to be rebadged at Holden for Austrailia?????? I wonder.
  6. But can they build a quality vehicle that can last and with all the over capacity in Europe. I do not see them being successful. We still have way to many brands in the global economy along with the glut of capacity.
  7. Interior is awesome, just need to change that terrible white so it does not show the dirt. Very different. This is a love it or hate it SUV! I love it, the wife hates it, but does like the interior.
  8. So if we took the G8 and converted it to run on CNG at the current prices of $2 per thousand cubic feet or about 20 cent a gallon, it just might change peoples minds. Personally CNG is the right mid step as they work towards electric cars that can go hundreds of miles on a charge and be quickly recharged just like a normal Fuel car. Yet to get there, there has to be a mid step and with the US having the 2nd largest natural gas reserves in the world, we can kick the Arab oil need and bring back cheap energy and rely on ourself's. You can get a Home Fueling Station for about 5K, this would really make it awesome to have a CNG truck, SUV or car and not have to pay the slave rates at the gas station.

  10. BME & mercedees were far from being a 'world class standard' circa the early '80s. BMW interiors for one were horrendously cheap & spartan. BMW of today (still not great) wouldn't even recognize early '80s BMW. Both have made huge leaps in interior quality, appointments, equipment & luxury, but they were pretty bad then. You need to cut yer revisionist history timespan down a bit. '81 5-series: WOW That is one freakin cheap ass interior.
  11. 91 Escort GT white just like I used to own back in the day. That was a hell of a pocket rocket Mazda built for Ford.
  12. There is a lovely Maroon 454 SS suburban in my neck of the woods. Course they have had it parked the last year, but I do like the looks of it. No reason not to have a full SS lineup.
  13. Boy even with the cracks in the plastic nose I would if I could afford it buy this baby. Like the Monte, it is a lovely faithful dog. Looking at the photo's again, I did forget just how terrible the trunks were for getting stuff into them. I am surprised they did not open it upmore with that kind of trunk lid.
  14. Sweet ride. I wonder why people cannot park square in the parking spaces. I would be afraid some moron would ding this lovely lady!
  15. Awesome, I look forward to hearing from you. My wif loves it when I RainX the windshields. She loves how the rain just beeds up and flys off and tends to use the wipers in delay mode more. So I truly hope you have a great experiance with it in the oncoming rain.
  16. So is you who is causing all the fracking???? boy lately the joints just seem to creeak.
  17. I totally agree, for an entry level premium car, this engine is pathetic. Yet the Lemmings will buy it.
  18. WOW Me Likey Likey!!! Now I do see VM/Porsche in the over all body but I do like what they have done in taking it to the next level. Should be interesting.
  19. Baud
  20. After 6-9 months on a new paint job, clay is awesom to make sure you get no problems and get the smoothest paint job around.
  21. Sweet Find, I love the family connection with my own love afair of this generation, the Monte Carlo. This is an awesome car for someone to buy.
  22. Yup, seems everything is going small windows, high doors with protection built in to meet 5 star requirement. Yet that same extra protection will be causig accidents when no one can see out the car door or do a proper shoulder check. No wonder I do not have anything newer than 2008.
  23. DOA by the end of this year. A model of business that is NOT sustanable due to outlandish product that does not meet the bulk of the citizens needs. They built as if this was before our great recession, not after it. Total Vaporware and I do not expect them to be here next year.
