Chevrolet News:Dealers: Chevrolet Malibu Eco Difficult To Sell
Discount these lame egg's and sell them off, dump the eek Assist and put in the Duramax Diesel 2.6L and have a good night of High Mileage with decent tourque. Want performance, then drop the MPG just a bit by going with the 2.9L duramax system. If you want a hybrid system, then start putting the VOLT into a wide range of auto's and enjoy the true GM Version of the Prius family. No reason you cannot have a VOLT 4 door car, Station wagon, Minivan and CUV AWD based on the VOLT system.

2013 Scion FR-S
Nice for a cheap toyota. Very sad that you see the plastic wheel wells in the engine bay. Also, Marketing has got to wake up that Horsepower alone will not win the war. Without Torque you cannot move the mass and that engine is starved for Torque in comparison to HP. I agree with dwightlooi that the GM I4 is superior over this engine any day. Over all Mud your getting really good at writing these reviews. Nice Job. Being home sick all week with the crud, I might be missing something, but over all it looks really good.

Chevrolet News:Facelifted Chevy Cruze photos emerge
It would be fun to do a group comparison of Sub Compact and Compact Pocket rockets from America, Asia and Europe and see who wins.

Industry News: J.D. Power Finds New Car Buyers Hate Their In-Car Nav, Want To Use Their Smartphones
In other words, the Impala will finally be catching up to Corolla? As nav systems have come down in price (which many have), OhStar TBT has looked less and less appealing. Especially to those like me who prefer having dynamic maps. Agree, the OnStar Turn by Turn sucks. The systems look like their from the 80's and I am not at all impressed with them. I would rather have a dynamic map on a nice screen nav system with a ladies voice to remind me of up coming changes.

Industry News: J.D. Power Finds New Car Buyers Hate Their In-Car Nav, Want To Use Their Smartphones
Your comment is what I hear from Baby Boomers all the time. Some finally see the benefit of having NAV in their auto when they go on road trips, others which is most of the baby boomers do not want to learn. I have found that when you stop learning, you die. Example is uncles who have passed away in their 70's as they just wanted to sit around and watch TV and then I have my Grandparents in their late 90's who keep on learning and pushing. My Grandpa died at 95 due to cancer as he hated doctors. But my Grandma who is 96 was just told by the Cardiologist that we will need to plan to replace her pacemaker battery when she turns 100 and he sees no reason she cannot keep going. Learning and change is grand!

Industry News: J.D. Power Finds New Car Buyers Hate Their In-Car Nav, Want To Use Their Smartphones
Perfect reason for the car companies to partner with others that do it better than do it themselves. GM always seems to be 2 yrs behind on updates. I got the latest DVD for both my Trailblazer and Escalade and while it updated many things, there are roads that have been around for the last year plus that are still not showing up on the nav and yet both Bing maps and google maps shows these roads. Course interesting thing is my son on his iPhone with Apple maps does not show the updated HOV lans/ramps. Wonder if Apple and GM use the same supplier for maps.

Jeep News: Jeep: New Models and Old Names Are Coming
Very True, they have Trail Rated setups, but they also need Trail Rated Interiors.

Industry News: J.D. Power Finds New Car Buyers Hate Their In-Car Nav, Want To Use Their Smartphones
Guess I am one of the few that actually hates the smartphone apps and slow 4g LTE response. (Interesting Observation that is confirmed by my wife and kids, we have unlimited Verizon and I have not been willing to resign a new contract. As such it seems even though they denies it that the upload and download has gotten worse) I would rather have a dedicated Nav in my autos. What the auto companies need to do is stop trying to reinvent the wheel and partner up with those companies that are already doing nav well and push out via satellite constant updated Nave to begin with.

Soft top trivia!
See this would be a perfect nitch for GMC and Chevy. Build a New Trailblazer Z71 4x4 with the H3 off road capability of 32 to 1 or 64 to 1 crawl ratio. Duramax 2.9L engine. Wash out inside Optional or standard OEM Roll Cage like the Wrangler. Priced in the Mid 20's this could do very well.

Jeep News: Jeep: New Models and Old Names Are Coming
I think the best thing that could be done is for GM to bring back a basic TrailBlazer with the Hummer H3 capability powered by the 2.9L Duramax Diesel at an attractive Mid 20's Price point and you will win over Jeepers who are looking for a Capable off road package. Trailblazer Z71 4x4 64 to 1 crawl ratio 2.9L Duramax Diesel Wash out inside. Option OEM Roll Cage This could sell very well.

BMW News: Rumorpile: BMW Working On A Z2 Roadster?
BMW is going down the WRONG road in doing FWD. People here see BMW as Luxury only with Performance Driving Road Machines and I see this backfiring for BMW. Oh well, they should use Mini Cooper to expand having Class 1 & 2 FWD appliances and not water down BMW. Europe might be used to this, but not the US.

Toyota News: Toyota Reclaims World's Largest Automaker Title
But they are both Ordinary as Lexus offers nothing special to stand out from the rest of the Luxury car companies. Their Idea is bland and boring, fall asleep at the wheel driving. They might as well merge with Google and just make all their ugly boring cars Self Driving since the people are more into their electronics.

2014 Bi-Fuel Suburban????
Considering how long I have wanted a Duramax Diesel in a Suburban, This would be a welcomed auto. GM can bring economy of scale to these large family haulers and trailer towers while reducing the cost of fueling. I look forward to seeing this come out.

2014 Bi-Fuel Suburban????
So a little Birdy from GM Fleet made a comment to me and when I pushed she said she could not comment on future product. What was it she wispered to me you ask? I made the comment in talking with this individual who over sees the Pacific NW Fleet sales that I would love to buy a Diesel or CNG Suburban as Gas powered versions just do not do it for me. Her comment was just wait till the roll out of 2014 models and your wish will come true for Bi-Fuel. So I pushed her if this was an Impco product like their Bi-Fuel Trucks and she clamped up with the no comment on future products. So I am now thinking that since the 6.0 V8 in the Suburban is no different than the trucks and the better benefit is that the tanks can be on the driver side between the frame and drive line that this could be a very cool option. With the auto switch sensor between natural gas and regular gas, this could make for a great hauling ride and daily driver as it is cheap to fill up the Natural Gas. So what are your thoughts on this, would you be interested in a Bi-Fuel Suburban with about a 700 mile range using both fuels? Sound Off!

Chrysler News: Chrysler Announces $1.7 Billion In Net Income, Revises Product Plan
Very Exciting to see, I wonder just how long Fiat can really survive. I still see only a rare Fiat on the road and the two dealerships here have hundereds stocked up. No matter what they do for sales prices, they are not moving cars. I am so glad Chrysler and Dodge are not going with Fiat cars. I know many here have said they build exciting quality product, but their style is ugly to me and many around Seattle that I talk to and quality/reliablility is another I hear brought up all the time. Maybe for the east coast being closer to Europe they love and will go with Fiat, but for west coast, seems Asian and American is the way to go. Mini being the lone exception and even then, the Mini dealership here has cut back on what is in stock as they are not selling much also. Seems a fickle crowd for compact, subcompact cars.

Auto Show Forum re-org
I love the Idea, I agree all major autoshows should have their own folder and then by year under that. It would be great if you cloud list on each year folder the main contributors at the show so when you are looking for a specific writer filed story, just go to those by that person.

Bugs
Noticed on MotherTrucker, I did not have the option to upload any pictures, but other threads I get the button to click for other reply options which allows me to upload images. Figured it was a setting on that thread.
