  1. WOW It is amazing how stupid lemming reviews actually can sell auto's. I thought the internet was helping people to get informed and choose better auto's. Instead it looks like Lemmings are winning.
  2. Other than Marketing, I am finding it more and more difficult to justify the TT V6 over a V8.
  3. I would agree with both Dwight on a next level luxury package but also with Ocnblu on on a GS package for the Encore. Luxury package for both markets would make sense as Dwight states, but for the US, you could also have an Encore AWD GS package. I know many ladies that would eat this up in a CUV package.
  4. Happy B-Day!
  5. They could start by building auto's that actually have style not the Buck Tooth Hick look. They could also build performance and High Mileage auto's that are true luxury and can really fit large people. 6'6" tall does not fit into Acura. I know since I have tried many times with my friends who have the MDX and no one can sit behind me since with the chair all the way back there is only a couple inches from the seat back to the back seat and since I cannot sit upright, I have to be partially reclined and so over all the auto might be well built, but for small people.
  6. Love the Idea and specs, ZR1 - Stealthray would be a great World Beating Supercar for GM to produce.
  7. If they think about that Chevy might blow a head gasket, GMC could do it and bring back the Syclone. That was one Sick Twin Turbo Truck. I am sure the new TT V6 would go into a nice new Keg totting crewcab truck for GMC.
  8. Would any of you turn down the opportunity to drive one of his cars let alone own one? While I agree with you all that he is stretching calling this a muscle car. I am glade to see a person having started a business and building in America.
  9. GM Hello, you had the Chevy Luv Truck with gas or Diesel that had a 5 speed manual in the 70's. I know as I owned a 1976 Chevy Luv Series 5 that was awesome. Nothing new here, just deliver what the public wants at a quality level higher than everyone else.
  10. Reminds me of the ugly mini mini van of Mazda. This is the same, an ugly mini mini van with no driving dynamic or personality in my opinion. If you are looking for a decent mileage cargo/people hauler to and from the office and around the home area then it is probably fine. Interesting observation is the people who usually drive these auto's are very bland and boring IHO. I feel this is the ultimate Lemming mobile for lemmings. These people are right up there with BMW drivers as being the biggest jerks on the roads. BMW drivers use no turn signals and force there way all over the road driving with a careless attitude. Prius drivers seem to be the opposite in some regards, get into the far left lane and drive 20mph under the posted speed limit and will not move out of the way for people who do drive the speed limit. Both should probably just use mass transit and relaxe with no stress of driving.
  11. LOL, a 69 Mustang Mach 1 just went by the office, Lime Green. Looks original including the fading paint job.
  12. The owner says he is making an American Muscle car with Euro Driving quality. A combination of marriage of the Corvette ZR1 with a Lambo or Ferrari. The details seem to imply a Ferrari style body / frame / suspension setup with the Corvette Power Train.
  13. Very nice, while not bleeding edge style, a solid conservative but pleasant design.
  14. So came across this story on Lucra Cars who has built multiple cars for the Fast and Furious movies. He became noticed with the LC470 and now has the L148 that is to go into production in 2014 as a $300K 700HP LS V8 American Muscle car with European driving capabilities. Can he succeed and grow?
  15. But the new China Owners want to build a flag ship auto to announce to the world that they are a luxury maker to compete with.
  16. G. David Felt Alternative Fuels & Propulsion writer www.CheersandGears.com EPA Apps and Tools for Alternative Energy The EPA is working hard to allow people to find Alternative Energy stations via their first smartphone app. Support from the Energy Department, the Alternative Fueling Station Locator app provides information on more than 15,000 stations across the country. This was developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The app allows users to select multiple parameters such as if the station is open to the public, what form of payments they take, hours of operation, address, phone numbers, etc. This app allows for the search of the following fuels: stations that offer electricity, biodiesel (B20), natural gas (compressed CNG and liquefied LNG), ethanol (E85), hydrogen, and propane. The Alternative Fueling Station Locator app is available for the iPhone and iPad at no cost from the Apple App Store. More information can be attained here : http://energy.gov/eere/articles/energy-department-launches-alternative-fueling-station-locator-app?utm_source=+WW+Clean+Cities+News+Digest+--+November+26%2C+2013&utm_campaign=Weekly+News+Digest&utm_medium=email One thing that every business owner wants is to be able to see what the ROI (Return on Investment) point would be for Alternative Fuels. Clean Cities and the Argonne National Laboratory has taken data and created a spread sheet that allows people to plug in specific information so that they can get the following information: 1) Simple Payback Calculator 2) Total Cost of Ownership Calculator, 3) Fleet Energy and Emissions Footprint Calculator Using multiple sources of data, a well to wheels approach allows one to figure out their carbon footprint based on what types of auto's they drive, type of fuel used and type of work done to estimate ones carbon footprint. The AFLEET tool's spreadsheet and user manual can be found here: http://greet.es.anl.gov/afleet_tool Full story by Green Fleet can be found here: http://www.greenfleetmagazine.com/news/51780/feds-develop-alt-fuel-analytical-tool?utm_campaign=topnews-20131122&utm_source=Email&utm_medium=Enewsletter&utm_source=+WW+Clean+Cities+News+Digest+--+November+26%2C+2013&utm_campaign=Weekly+News+Digest&utm_medium=email
  17. Be safe everyone with the snow storm hitting you. Seattle is a nice comfy 41 degrees and sunshine. Just got done having a test drive in a coworkers new Audi S4 that he just got back from a customer tuner shop. After buying it new at the dealership, he drove it to the tuner and plunked down 20K more for new brake system, exhaust system, ECU Tuning, and other engine work. WOW, It really moves and the crack of the exhaust is nice under hard driving. Gotta love engineers who love to tune their auto's for premium performance.
  18. Cookie Monster!
  19. SWEEEEEET! I think the Reviewers need to put in a request now for a week loaner of these beasts for comparison to the V series from Caddy.
  20. Just that the US can NOT afford it any longer. Time to put in term limits and kick out the old school boy fan club.
  21. Rubber Ducky
  22. Someone will loose their job over this. Ouch the body work! Dyno FAIL BIG TIME!
  23. Yup Unions would love to get all that cash and squander it. But Fiat wants bottom basement pricing. Not sure they could really afford it anyway.
