Sounds like you have partial night blindness. Just be careful, best of luck with it.

Not sure where, but I am sure your area has the same thing as my area. Look at the Reposed / confiscated auto's. In washington state they all go to various auction houses and every saturday and sunday on the first weekend of the month they go up for sale to the public. I have seen some sweet deals where people have captured only a couple years old auto's for a few thousand dollars. This is what I quickly found in your area. http://www.athensautoauctionga.com/ http://www.georgiacarauction.com/athens/

Chevrolet News:2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 To Start At $75,000*

Sounds like what has happened over the holidays at Eastside Catholic HighSchool. http://www.king5.com/news/local/Eastside-Catholic-resumes-school-protesting-students-will-be-disciplined-238813151.html The Vice Principal got married to his life long partner and the Principal told him to get a divorce if he wanted to keep his job or be fired. I hope he gets a much better job elsewhere. :o :o :o :o :o :o In the 21st Century while I understand the catholic church has a right to state their view, it is still WRONG for making a judgement call like this. Leave it to GOD if you really believe this idol exists. After all his bible written by men states that only he judges.

QUESTION? Is the 8K the amount you have to pay down so the auto is paid for and you just have to gas it, insure it and drive it? Reason is that at least here in Washington for the 7 passenger CUV's, I see many fully loaded or well loaded for a reasonable 300 month lease payment. One option to consider so that you can get into something bigger and more reliable.

SAmadei, My 94 GMC Suburban came like all with the normal dark tint and my wife or I have no problem seeing out of the windows and checking the dual mirrors. Now my Suburban came with what I believe is normal rectangle mirrors and have good vision. Trust me that you will get used to looking out your corners and eventually come to thank that tint for toning down headlights and other bright light sources so you can still see. One RECOMMENDATION, I put a pair of PIAA flood lights on the back just under the bumper so in reverse it lights up the world so you can clearly see what you want to back up to even a trailer. Backing up is the one hard part with tinting if you do not have decent flood lights.

Fiat News: Rumorpile: Fiat Plans A 5-Door 500 To Replace The Punto

That could be the new Punto Drew! It would fit in with their current design language or lack of one. -
2015 GMC Canyon
G. David Felt replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)
Naw, I do not see how this would cause us problems since it was already posted online and reposted. Nothing showing of the truck so we are good to speculate about how nice the GMC twin will be in a little more than a week away. -

Karma News: Fisker's Founder and Board Gets Slammed With A Lawsuit
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Karma
GMTruckGuy74, while the auto is a nice looking 4 door sedan and what Lutz is doing is pretty interesting, I do not see this as a mass produced and available auto. My comment is from a business stand point. I believe this will end up in the courts and be a expensive mess as those that invested try everything to get something back from the rich men who bilked them out of their money. Yes a fool and his money are soon parted, investing in this company at any stage right now is a total waste. -
Chevrolet News:2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 To Start At $75,000*
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
Racing is what it is, Racing and the parts are expensive to build and support. The Z/28 appearance package of memory is just that a performance package with a small amount of improvement. As Z clearly stated, this is a race machine that is barely street legal. You will have people buy them as collectors and they will hold their value. Not a bad price if you are looking for a street legal race car. These prices are comparable with other street legal races cars produced. -

I would stay away from the second generation Durango, these full size SUV's are a night mare, my nephew bought one and has had nothing but problems and the car report did not show any issues to be concerned but as you research, the full size SUV's are not reliable. Better to look for the 3rd generation Durango that has 7 seats but is mid size and seems to have a better reliability track record. Aviator is nice, but I hear from a former owner that as they get older they end up having lots of electronic issues and so he sold it rather than chase the problems down to fix. Cannot comment on the Explorer or mountaineer but do not see many on the road here in the NW. GMT 360's yes have their issues, but are easy to repair and troubleshoot and seem to still drive on for a long time. I would check these out for the best option IMHO.

Fiat News: Rumorpile: Fiat Plans A 5-Door 500 To Replace The Punto
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
Fiat has a long way to go as their auto's are butt ugly IMO. That chevette wanna be is perfect example. I do agree with Black Knight that Fiat fits in with Chyrsler where Plymouth left off. Continual consolidation of the auto industry. -

On the second page, who is the 1,900 million for? not clear at all. Lots of additional good info from the web. Forbes story says Marchionne has stated that with the merger, a new stock might be issued on the New York Stock exchange rather than in Italy and the new world headquarters might even be based in the US. Reuters states that now that the two companies will become one, 2.5 billion of the immediate cash payment will come from the Chrysler 11.5 billion cash horde that Fiat could not touch and that only 1.5 billion will come from available Fiat cash. Sounds like Fiat never really had the cash to purchase Chrysler. Interesting that Businessweek.com states that multiple banks put Chrysler over all value at between 10-11 billion making the UAW stake worth 4.15 billion. With cash on hand, this seemed to force the 4 years of 700 million payments. Very interesting. I like the statement that business week has on their story where they quote the following "The Unified ownership structure will now allow us to fully execute our vision of creating a global automaker that is truly unique in terms of mix of experience, perspective and knowhow, a solid and open organization that will ensure all employees a challenging and rewarding environment," Marchionne said in a statement. While it is sad to see an American company change hands to out of the country ownership, this very well could become more interesting. Either Chrysler will grow to truly be a global power house like Toyota and GM or the CEO will cause it to fail just like he has with his own Italian brands. IMHO.

Reminds me of the ugly Honda S2000 sports car. Over revving junk. I know there is a market for sitting on the ground sports cars but they just do nothing for me.

NO AND HELL NO! They want to get more people to drive and sell auto's then stop loading them up on electronic stuff that is not needed. Add one device to block all cell phone use and force people to actually pay attention to the road or if they want, they can purchase a self driving car for those that cannot be responsible. It is sad when a child gets hurt or killed, but this is the lack of responsibility for adults who just go out, get in their auto and drive away without looking. Teach your kids to pick up after themselves and put things away, teach them to not play behind a auto in the drive way, teach kids to be responsible for their actions the same way adults are held accountable for their actions. We do not need additional electronics that can break and increase cost on autos. This has gotten to a stage of stupidity that your auto has to tell you to check your surrounding areas for kids and toys before driving off. Kids must be taught to also watch out for auto's and proper places to play and leave things.

To be expected for what is there. No Hybrid which is what the volt is so it is understandable as Hybrids do hold more value than the EV's or ubber luxury auto's.

Audi News: Audi Investing $30.3 Billion Through 2018
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Volkswagen
30.3 billion investment sounds like Audi is going to push the envelope in Hybrid versions and alternative fuel versions of their auto's. Would not be surprised to see a self driving version also show up. -
Or like their hideous Panamera a total nightmare. Time for Porsche to get a new style anyway, their cars all look dated.

Hyundai News:John Krafcik Steps Down As Hyundai CEO
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Hyundai
I could see him show up at Chrysler. In regards to Mullaly going to Microsoft, that would be the biggest mistake and be a death nail in Microsoft. They need someone with Technical vision, not a paper pusher who knows how to clean up mgmt. messes that the Ford Family left behind. -
A Christmas Gift to all GM Fans "Were Here to Stay"
G. David Felt replied to hyperv6's topic in General Motors
Interesting post, I for one love Evolutionary and better yet Revolutionary auto's. Right now Auto Design has gotten in a terrible funk of blah egg shape design and everyone following the same style. I know many will want to hang me but Porsche is an over done, old design that needs to be retired and the Panamera is a ugly monster that has no beauty to it. Been in them, drove them and I find nothing to set my butt on fire. The images while interesting are eggs that I have to say generate a Mehhh response. Hate to say it, but Holden laid an egg with this, screams of a last ditch effort rather than a real response to continue to sell auto's. Actually disappointed in it more than anything. -
Industry News: Cuba Lifts Restriction On Buying New Vehicles
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
Be interesting to see what the first type of auto's are that get imported and what the cost would be. This would be a great time for Cuba to also look at green fueled cars and set a standard rather than just let old existing auto's come in as is. They have a huge Sugar crop that could be used to make alternative fuel.
