Interesting, I have always like especially the first and second generation Maxima. Be interesting to see this in person and if they improved over the last generation as it leaves allot to be desired.

Very nice, great improvement over the past 200. I would not have a problem driving this if I could be comfy enough in these small cars.

Interior is nice, exterior is an improvement, but still do not like the design language.

Nice car, realized that these low slung cig pack high 2 door sports cars are not my thing. But I could see this selling here in the US as long as it stayed in the low 20K price range.

Nice car, but leaves me with an emtpy expectation that there should be something more. Not sure what, but it is missing something.

Interesting car, actually like the body style and very different from anything Toyota has done in the past. Course I see allot of Ferrari so maybe they had a stable full of the prancing ponies to look at to build this.

I like the new interface, clean and enjoyable. I find it interesting that depending on the size of the monitor the front page turns into tiles or on bigger screens shows verbiage about the story. Nice auto change feature. Did you play with the build theme option in the upper left corner? I changed colors to my like with this. -
We'll this is going to be a love it or hate it truck and so Ford has probably hit it on the nose to compete against dodge and gm. For me, it is ugly and I do not like the exterior at all. The interior is even worse as it comes across as over done big blocks and looks plasticky from the pictures. There just seems to be a cheapness about the interior that I cannot put my finger on other than the plasticky look. 700lbs reduced weight is awesome. Yet with all the problems they have been having on the quality of the aluminum panels, I would not touch this truck for a few years and let them figure out how to truly make it solid.

It gives them a auto to have in the full size SUV category, but I would take a plain jane tahoe over this.

Nice write up, Bill hit the nail right on when he said this is a car for those that want to be driven around in, not for the driver. With that said, I am sure based on the pictures that the fit, finish, and quality is there, but the car is just blah to look at and the interior dash to me looks like a warp back in time. I know this is aimed at the conservative business person who gets driven around in but still I was left unimpressed.

JB Weld is a waste of money, have tried it multiple times and it never holds so I would not waste money on that product.

Sounds like someone decided to DuckTape the head to keep the water out of the engine! -

Inline with Ford and GM auto's but way out of reach for most middle income performance fans. Exciting to see how it trumps the Z28 and GT500.

Way to go Drew, keep it up and you will hit your target goals soon!

Oil tests are great also, forgot about them, but they usually only need a test tube full so not enough to really notice it. Like everyone else having said, it WILL NOT void the warranty. Look forward to hearing what auto this is on and what your thoughts are about why you want to do this?

Vehicle: Volkswagen Beetle TDi (2013)
G. David Felt replied to ocnblu's topic in Member's Rides Showcase
WOW, sorry to hear that Ocnblu. Your issue has made me interested in seeing what else was out there and I am shocked, this water issue is not only to the bug, but also the Jetta and the Touereg diesels. Electrical issues on those two auto's is the biggest issue but the engine with the water problem is the second biggest and like you many have posted that what they thought would be a fun to drive long life diesel auto became much shorter and in one persons listing the engine died before the warranty was up, replaced by VW and just shy of 15K miles out of warranty the engine died again. I thought VW was getting better at building auto's than this but it would seem they are pulling an 80's style of build it, sell it and avoid fixing and making the product better as long as they get your money. Sad as I always liked VW's SUV's but now would stay away from them due to what I am reading. -
Am I crazy for considering this?

The pictures on the black one makes me think this was a home conversion job to dually and not oem stock. I suspect it was single wheel orginally and the person wanted the look of dually or they had to replace the rear differential housing and put in the wrong one. -
I know most are not like me but growing up doing body building and power lifting, if a day time job was not required to support myself, I could live in a gym and just lift every day and work out. I love the gym with the various activities you can have the body do.
