Vehicle: Volkswagen Beetle TDi (2013)
G. David Felt replied to ocnblu's topic in Member's Rides Showcase
The new Canyon / Colorado crew cab with a H3 off road 4x4 kit and Diesel I would say would nicely replace that Bug Ocn. -
MB Sprinters SUCK! My brother in law who runs his own appliance repair and installation business got one as everyone he talked to said they are awesome, long lasting cheap to drive vans. In the 100K miles he has owned it, the diesel has actually cost him more in fuel than a gas version probably would have. I am surprised how terrible these vans get for mileage. He has gone through 2 transmissions, Radio is dead, it died only a few thousand miles past warranty and MB was like you can pay us to put in a new one. He went to car toys and got a way better unit for a fraction of MB price. The cheap plastic interior is so bad, he has multiple doors he has just decided to duck tape to keep closed. His Ford Econo line Van and then the van before this which was a GM duramax diesel were way better. He has decided to drive it till the next major mechanic issue shows and then trade it in. He will NEVER BUY a MB product again. Over Priced Cheap Build Quality Terrible Service If this is what is to be expected out of the Euro Line of vans from everyone and this is considered the best van out there. America is in sad position to have GARBAGE Service vans. GM / FORD need to build their own for this market and not import garbage.

Bentley News: A Bentley Executive Talks About An Entry Level Model
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Bentley
The cignet was a ultra sub compact car I believe. This sounds like a compact 4 door car. I still cannot see spending 100K on a Bentley 4 door compact or as they say a small car. I agree with Balthazar that they are going in the wrong direction for a ubber exclusive auto company.- 5 replies

Education! NOTE: EMC corp keeps a web page due to the thousands of acronyms they use just so people can figure out what is being said in house.

February 2014: General Motors Co.

I agree that the Chevy Version has no WOW factor, but I think the GMC version of the trucks has a WOW factor. The GMC Truck will age very nicely.- 12 replies

Early Vipers ordered to the Crusher within 2 weeks
G. David Felt replied to G. David Felt's topic in Dodge
If GM can figure this out with the pre-production auto's and keep alive history, then Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat needs to get their act together. -
Based on Reading and pictures, this DOES NOT have the same interior space behind the back seat as my son's Patriot. Over all I do NOT see this as a replacement for the Patriot/Compass. Be interesting to see what Jeep does. Course, Fiat does not know how to build quality auto's let alone quality medium/large auto's.

G. David Felt Staff Writer Alternative Energy - CheersandGears.com Chrysler who had donated 93 early production Vipers has ordered all the Auto Mechanic Schools to crush them within 2 weeks as they became a multi million dollar liability after a couple of students took them for Joy rides and crashed. No student from the washington state mechanical program was invloved in accidents, these happened at other schools out of state. A Washington State Community College has a 1992 PreProduction Viper VIN #4 that Jay Leno tried to buy. This Viper was the proto type for a hard top before they came out into production. King 5 news of washington did a great story on this along with interviewing the mechanic program. http://www.king5.com/news/cities/olympia/Olympia-college-told-to-destroy-rare-Dodge-Viper--248667111.html All I can say is it is a Sad Day when they crush these cars. Why if they are donated is chrysler responsible? I feel these cars need to be saved. The history here is too great.

That's why NBA ballers drive full size SUVs or ride in the back of LWB luxury sedans.. I don't have to worry about anyone riding behind me, but I have noticed some cars where the seat doesn't seem to go back far enough....my sister's '00 DTS for example...I've been driving it the last few weeks (Jeep issues) and find even w/ the seat all the way back and the steering wheel in pretty far I have to recline the seat to get comfortable (6'0", long legs). Exactly, that is why all I own is full size SUV's. We just do not fit comfy in cars.

Sleeper cop car, so you replaced your v6 powered one with a v8? Or did you just start changing the outside of it?

My eye's are open SMKZZZZZZZZZZZ To me it is as bland as they always have been, but the interior is not anything special and way below what you can get from other auto companies. MPO

What about a Hyundai Genesis? That has more front leg room and head room than any Cadillac or Chrysler 300 or Ford Taurus. It's pretty big. If you have average size body to leg length porportions it is fine. But for me, shorter body, long legs, no one can sit behind me in that car and since the chair cannot go all the way down to the floor I have to be partially reclined to drive without having my head hit the roof. DEAL BREAKERS. Nice Car as my brother inlaw from my dads side of the family has one and I was able to ride in it and he loves it. but then again, he is 5'7" tall. Once you go over 6'2", most auto's are hard to fit into.

WOW, What a Bland Boring Put you to sleep Auto. The Interior is a Lesson in Minimalist, Plastic Cheapness. Just on looks alone both inside and out I would never recommend this to anyone. For the money, I see nothing to drive me to want to get this.

Bland interior with a Jelly Bean shape that has a Animation face on the car. Personally, a failure for me.
