Thought this would be a helpful and entertaining thread for everybody. Seems that some of us here have done this a time or two and it hasn't made any sense. So here is your chance to get it out of your system! :alcoholic: :alcoholic: :alcoholic::alcoholic::alcoholic::alcoholic::cheers::CanadaEmoticon::puke::iroc-dragster:

Oh yeah, like the California Highway Patrol says "Drinking and Driving Don't Mix"

I just figured out tonight that Mike's Hard Lemonaid, which is WAY more expensive than regular beer, is ONLY 11.2 oz!!! WTF!!!!! I want a full 12 ozs for my money.... gosh, I think I'm starting to sound like a cross between Lewis Black and Andy Rooney.

It also doesn't mix well with my tender stomach. While everyone was sampling the homemade test tube and jell-o shooters at the camp (my limit was 2) this weekend, I (among a few holdouts) was left to watch a bunch of gay guys dressed in Key West garb get wet (rain showers) and drunk off their asses. Next morning, the campground was like a ghost town... everybody was "sleeping in", so to speak.

Ew no, never been there, and after hearing about the place, don't want to go. Scary. I go to a nice place in Lehighton, I started going 3 years ago, their first season.

O.B. I thought you were going to say Brokeback Mountain.

I've never been there myself but I've heard it isn't that nice of a campground in general plus I've heard some stories too that tell me it isn't for me.

Nine times out of ten if I'm drinking it's a glass of red wine with my pasta.

I've found there's only one "drug" for me and even that I do in

moderation & on nights I have NO responsibilities what so ever.

That lady with the scientific bong thingy looks

like a high school scienbce teacher and that's

pretty funny. She looks like an uptight, super

conservativr woman, maybe even a librarian.

Anyway so I'm watching the Siimpsons & it's

the episode where Homer sinks the Judge

Judy Hoase Boat and then she's all pissed at

him and looks at the newspsper headline in

court and it says "Bad Parent Sinks House

Boat, Blanket Destroyed" and she's like:

"my grandmother made that blanket!!!!!"

and Homer responds:

""so it cost you nothing then...."

Now thaty's funny!

"Arrrggrgrrhhg Cobras!!!"

I guess last night when Marcia dragged me off to bed at

like 12:30am I naver hit "ADD REPLY" on this window.

Since it's my first official post in the "drunk" thread I

just had to post it anyway.

So as some of you know, as of an hour ago I'm officially living in

Chelmsford Massachusetts as we've moved out of Tyngsboro, MA.

I have been moving $hit all day and am exhusted from the past

weeks' worth of moving, etc.

But since I decided to kick back :alcoholic: tonight here's a thought.

The Beatles are to Rock N Roll what Hardtop RWD, GM cars from

the '60s are to the automotive industry. In other words the

coolest and most superior of all their various "peers".

and on that note... good night. I'm exhausted & not of sound mind.

I had a Guinness last night in a mixed bar. I sat in the corner by myself and watched the people. One dude cruised me pretty hard, but I blew him off. Then I came home and went to bed. I need to find a non-smoking venue. Cigarette smoke stinks, and it makes my eyes red and teary if it's too thick. What fun is that? Blah.

I'm so glad that New York banned smoking in bars. I can go out and come home not smelling like an ashtray. As for the bars themselves, I'm not sure why I even bother.

All of my friends are 'partnered' up and have been for years. They rarely go out anymore. So, when I do go out, it's by myself but I don't mind that so much. I am a bit of a loner so I prefer it to the feeling of always being a fifth wheel which I truly hate. I don't go out much so I don't know many people and I also don't drink much so I rarely even get buzzed. Apparently, I'm also a freak magnet because a lot of bizzare people talk to me. For the most part, I just try to be polite and laugh it off. But, seriously, it gets to be tiring.

I don't like to listen to people gossip about and critique other people in the bar. I don't like to listen to the drunken ravings of screaming queens who seem to think the louder they are, the funnier they are. I don't like to listen to someone point out all of their 'conquests' and rate their performances. I don't like to have to tell touchy-feely people I barely know to keep their hands off me.

Granted, it isn't always like that when I go out. Typically, I go out at off times when there aren't many people to begin with. But, even then it can get too weird for me. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone in a bar that I would want to do anything with socially. All of my current friends that I socialize with, I met outside of the bars. I just can't figure out where all of the 'regular' single gay guys go?

I have a bad, bad habit of drink-and-dial when I've been boozing it up with my cubies, either in a pub or the ubiquitious summer Saturday afternoon suburban backyard bbqs... call my friends and coworkers from my cell and leave the message 'Rob druk'. Eventually, my phone gets taken away.. :(

Im not drunk but I need to ramble.

Why do people hate smoking so much? I hate people that drive toyotas but it could never be illegal. You know how many jobs the Tobacco industry provides the US with? The US might have not made it to where it is today with out tobacco. It was our maine Export for years back before we were a country. Also the taxes on those products provies millions of dollars to schools. I dont smoke if you were wondering.

Posted
Perhaps tobacco farmers and all in the tobacco industry should switch to growing corn and building ethanol plants. It could eventually become bigger than tobacco and make us less dependent on freaks.

I am on vacation right now and am so happy to see this post has staying power.... not the same as the totally lame word association... but maybe someday.... i can dream right??
